If you could

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

If you could

If you could be Anything when you grow up (or even right now) what would you be. This includes animals, career choices, object, etc. I would be for an animal: bat, for a C.C. a obstetrician, and lastly a loaf of bread.

I would be a bongo (if you don't know what they are, google picture them!  They're really cool!  I've seen them!), an architect, and a drawing of Pussywillow! (I love you, Pussywillow!!!!!) How do you do the star by your name??  Oh, wait!  I think I know how! Oh, no, it doesn't work by the names.  How did you do it???  And, did you know that your town was named after Portland, Maine.  The story is something like this:  Two people had just founded your town, and they were trying to come up with a name.  The one guy said it should be named after his hometown, but I forgot where he was from.  It was some big city, like Chicago or something.  The other guy said they should name it after his hometown, Portland, Maine.  They threw dice, to see who'd get what they wanted.  Of course, the Mainer won.

That a really cool story. I am glad that the other person didn't win. I actually live like 45 miutes out side of portland, in this intsy little tiny town. But my family and I vist the city every week. That would be fun to be a bongo, than you creat music, whoopie! Ok to get the star (wait to you have a mac, I think you need a mac to get the star). If you have a mac you go the U.S. flag in the right upper corner and click it, you will see something that says character palete. and you can costumize your stuff fom there! I think it would be splendiferous to be an architect, but oh the algebra!✌♡☺☻☺

I don't care about the algebra, because, since I'm homeschooled, I am a few years ahead in math.  Example: I'm going to be doing calculus when I'm a freshman.  I guess that the reason I can't do things like the star is because I have a pc. :(  It would be cool to be a bongo, but (it's a common mistake!) I meant the animal, bongo! They're really weird looking. If you know what an okapi is, it's sort of like them.  It is a huge, orange-hooved animal with white stripes and GINORMOUS horns. It lives in the African jungles and when running away from predators, it has to lift its head back so the horns are flat against its back, so they don't get caught in trees. :) Some bongos even have marks on their backs from where the horns rubbed off fur. I think they're endangered, but some zoos in the US have them, such as the Disney Animal Kingdom in Orlando and the Denver Zoo. (That's a really cool zoo!  I just went there!)

PLEEEEEEASE tell me what in the world a bongo is! I'm SURE that you don't mean a bongo drum!:):):) I think that I might want to be a Chihuahua sometimes. Also, a bird, a cloud, a car, a horse, a guitar, music, and other things that I can't think of right now.:):):) I wouldn't want to be any of these things forever, but maybe just for a day. Sorry, I have NO desire to be a loaf of bread. Maybe it's just me.:):):)

Read my really long post thing right above yours.  Then google picture "Bongo".  Or, go to the Denver Zoo, but that may take a little bit of persuading your parents. :)  The zoo has a baby bongo!  He was down below the path, so when I said, "Mom!  Look!  It's a real live bongo!" he looked up at me and I got the most amazing picture of a baby bongo that you've ever seen!  Of course, you never have seen a picture of a baby bongo, so I guess it isn't. :)

Animal: Dolphin. Career: Actress or writer. Object: this one's hard. I could name a lot of objects I wouldn't like to be. Maybe I would be a rare coin, or Ooh, a ship. But why would you want to be a loaf of bread? You'd get eaten.

I love dolphins too!!! I think I'd be a loaf of like the kind of bread with like olives and stuff in it. Well I guess if I was a loaf of bread then wouldn't have an nerves, so then it wouldn't hurt if I was eaten. then I'd be absorbed into the stomache, and I'd be part of that person. To be a ship would be marvelous, then I could ride the waves of the ocean!

Ohh!  You want to be a missionary?!?!?!  Awesome!  One of my best friends moved, umm, let's see, around January this year, to be a missionary in Guatamala.  Well, first she went to Costa Rica, to learn Spanish, but she's moving around New Year's.  One of my other really good friends moved around the same time to be a missionary in Russia.  They've had to come back once or twice, and I think they're coming back soon and will stay for a really long time, because of all of the crazy things going on in Russia. :( Please pray that everything will get straightened out, so they can continue doing their work.

My dream job is to be an ornithologist.  I want to study birds--especially raptors and owls.  If I had to be animal it would be an owl, or maybe a dog. I'd probably have to be something magical like a daemon (from The Golden Compass) so I could be all the animals ^_^  Object:  I'd want to be a book, or a photograph, or a diary.  Something someone could find 100 or 1000 years from now and be amazed at how we live.

I love this question! Animal: can't decide! Either dolphin or chimpanzee. Career: I have a bajllion things I might want to be. Some are photographer, children's book editor, teacher (especially chorus teacher), some nonprofit organization worker, a wildlife reserve worker, and no matter what, I'm being a writer. I also think it would be really fun to be in the Blue Horizons (that's the dolphin/bird show) at Sea World. Object: I'd actually be a place, a library. I would hold worlds of knowledge and "meet" new people every day.
