Say Goodbye

No, I am not leaving, do not fret. But a good friend of ours, Shadow Dragon *quietly sobs* is leaving us. Shadow was the most brilliant person, so friendly, unique, and talented. No, not many of you have been given the chance to meet or get to know our friend, but the time comes to move on.

I want you all to get to know Shadow, as much as you can. I want us to send our friend off out of the forest with smiles on our faces, as much as we might hurt. Or be confused, depending on how well you got to know the CBer. So please, if you know Shadow, share a memory, write a letter, or many. People did this for me when I left, and I felt so appreciated, cared for by you guys. The least we can do is offer the same to Shadow. 

If you haven't, then give Shadow Dragon the farewell deserved, and something you wish you could get to know better. *Sighs* I shall start...

My friend,

We all have been honored by your presence here. You changed each one of us, even those who were never presented the highest CB honor of getting to know you. Fortunately, I was given this chance. You changed everything, brought new ideas, features to the CB, kind words, and stories and skills. I mean, seriously, look back. I know you have to go but look back at all those times. A while ago, HAB told me you wrote the Hotel La'Faye Ski Lodge, the best Ski Lodge ever written. The creepiness intensified with each part, the love you put into your writing so evident. I felt as if I was really there, experiencing this horror before my own eyes. No, I never got to finish it, but I promise one day I will. Go on, explore the world. We'll be here to support you, Shadow, and please do not forget us.
