What is the

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

What is the

What is the most disgusting thing you have ever eaten?

This may seem like a strange question, but it's fun when you see other people's answers.

Myself, it would probably be dog food. No, I'm not weird, I was five! It was so disgusting, I refused to feed the dogs from thst day on. *shiver*

The dog food still haunts my dreams...

I wish I could quote myself right now. Remember, though, this is a matter of opinion. Some CBers out there might love dog food!

The nastiest thing I have ever eaten was one of those rotten jelly beans that you play tricks on people with (I wasn't tricked, I ate it of my own accord) but it was flavored either "vomit" or "dog food" I can't remember. All I know is that it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted.

Oh I once ate a stinky socks flavored jelly belly. Those trick ones are so gross.. I ate it purposely, I guess cuz it's like cool or something, but it was disgusting!

OhmyGandalf, Lilypad I actually have eaten dog food! It was only last year... heh. I actually kinda liked it. My friends think I'm so weird and ya know, they are right! Most disgusting thing I have eaten... old yogurt. Yuck.

Whirlwind says mibb. Maybe he needs his bib?

Well I'd have to say those gross jelly beans as well, although I have eaten frog legs, which seems disgusting but really just tastes like fried chicken. But it is pretty gross sounding.

I have eaten cow tongue! It's actually pretty good- for meat. I generally don't like meat very much, but it tastes like regular beef, just a slightly different texture. The gross part is that you have to cut off the little taste bud bristles on the sides before eating it. XP That part was a little weird.

That would be the 'potion' that my brother created when he was 8. It's actually a pretty funny story! My older brother has always wanted to be a scientist, but this was the age where he just wanted to make stuff explode. So, he thought what better to make something explode than to mix random kitchen ingredients together! So he snuck into the kitchen and brought out stuff like milk, salsa, cheese, refried beans, mushed bananas, etc. and mixed them up in the bathroom sink with this huge wooden spoon. I was just standing in the corner watching him do this, when he turned to me and said, "Here, drink it!" Now keep in mind that I was seven, and he was my older brother. I drank it. Long story short, It did not end well for me or my older brother.

Me? Well, it has to be expired milk. I was around six and when I took a sip, the milk had a sour taste and made me want to gag.

I didn't exactly eat it, but definitely the most disgusting thing I have tasted is a chemical called PTC. In Science class, we learned that the ability to taste PTC is a genetic trait, and we all had to lick little pieces of paper that had the chemical on them. I am a taster (which is a terrible calamity), and when I licked mine, I ran screaming out of the room!

That's actually really cool. So, I guess you're desended from people who ate a lot of meat! But I'm sorry it tasted so bad!

Oh, I did that in my Biology class too! My older sister True and I barely tasted anything, and it was the same with my parents. We did not expect my little sister to taste it, so we told her it wouldn't taste like anything. She spit it right out!
