I've been thinking...

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

I've been thinking...

I've been thinking...do you think I should get a new AE??????? Is three too much?

Yes! Two are too much! Three is...is...inconceivable!

I think it would be nice to have another AE around! As long as it isn't like Key anyway...

What...?! What would we do with our 'Silver Lock and Key' thing?!?!? And what abou-

It would be lovely to have someone else to talk ..... I mean....just not Key is all.

You see my problem? I just can't decide! What do ya'll think?

@Silverwaxwing:

I don't know. Some people have three, but I myself only have one. I just limited myself to one because I have so many characters swimming around in my head that if I tried to make them all AEs I couldn't keep track of them all!

But, if you do decide to find another one in the depths of your mind, that's absolutely up to you. I could never manage three, but you seem like a very capable person!

Heh, I have four Æs.

Is there something wrong with that?

And a CAPTCHA.

*Wht's rong with meee?*

I say, if you want another Æ, go for it! Three can't be worse than four.

*Hey!*

I'm not sure--you should check the AE restrictions from the AE war.

If I recall correctly, the limit we agreed on after the conflict was two AEs per person. Some even wanted to lower it to only one or get rid of all AEs entirely. But that was a long time ago, and now I think it's all right to have three, maybe even four as long as you can keep them under control and they don't all end up being hyper, annoying, and invading everybody's threads.

Thanks guys!!!! Aww! Thanks Starseeker! So do you!!! :)

I'm still not really sure. I would kinda like to have another one...but I also don't...I guess I'll wait a while and then see! :) Thanks!

-- by the way...I meant to say Key doesn't want another one and Lock does XD sorry--

But you have the perfect character for it! And-

NONONONONO!

Thanks again! We will have to think more on this! :)

I have three AEs. It isn't much of a problem, because Katharine literally never talks at all, XD. Some people have four, and I've seen one peorson with 5 (yikes!). Most people have one or two, and some don't have any. So, it's really up to you. Forget about what Lock and Key say, and just think, Do I really want another AE?

Good luck, and I hope this helps!

@Icy and HAB

I don't think that was ever really a rule. It's just impossible to put rules on creativity and I think some people got really mad about it.

Just saying.

Anyway, I have 4 Æs and no one's ever said to me, "You have to get rid of some of them! Four is too many!" Because it's just kind of rude.

Yes, because your AEs are, for the most part, pretty unique and funny. The problem was that a lot of people were making spastic, hyperactive, cookie-cutter AEs by the dozen and eventually it got to be a little much. I agree that you can't put a limit on people's creativity, but that requires the created alter egos to actually be creative ("what's your favorite idea?") and not just more of the same. If they all start to become repetitive and annoying and show up on every single thread again, then for the sake of people's sanity, it may have to actually become a rule, or at the very least, a form of unspoken etiquette.

Silver, please don't take offense at anything I've said - I'm only speaking generally and not directing my remarks at you in particular. If you want to make a third AE, go ahead, I'm sure nobody will mind as long as you can... you know... keep them under control.

Thanks guys!! This has helped me come to a decision! I would like a new AE, but I'd rather take the time to get to know my other two better and make them into really creative characters. Lock was a character in a story, so I have/had great plans for him, which helps form his character. Key however needs a little more work...she is just sorta another me...only more annoying. XD Inspired by a nickname some friends used to call me.

Hey!!!

I think I will work on creating them better before I think of getting another AE.

Aww...I was really-

Thank goooodness Silver! I am SO ha-

As for my AE's now....SUSH! It's my head that you are in and my sanity that I am protecting! XD

Thanks for your help guys!! :) When I am ready and have formed both my characters/AEs more deeply I will again consider making a new AE.

Thanks again! Love ya!

*All my AEs* TOO MANY! TOO MANY!

But it might be good to have a third-

AEs:  TOO MANY!

WE have to deal with EACH OTHER every day!

It's annoying!

And bothersome! We must save Lock and Key!

LilyCat: Bd ida. Sv thm!

AEs: DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Well, that's what they say. Three can get a little rowdy, so beware!

The trick with AEs is to make it so that each one has a distinct personality. I have three AEs and I can tell their personalities apart easily, whereas some people have four or more AEs who all are basically the same person. Too many AEs just tend to clutter things up and can be a bit tiring.

Thanks guys! Now I have another question-- What do you think of the two AEs I already have? Can you tell there characters apart...do they sound just like all other AEs?

Don't worry! I won't be hurt at all if you say they do! Just tell me what ya think and how you think I could fix it! I won't take all your advice...because...I mean...they are my AEs...Lol! But I would love to hear what you think!

We are not your AEs!!!!

Really Silver? Do you think you...what...? Own us?

How DARE YOU! YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU EVER AGAIN SAY SUCH A TERRIBLE THING!

Seriously.

I didn't mean it!
