HypeQuests Return

HypeQuests Return!

Okay, so I feel it is really time to bring back this old treasure: HypQuests. First brought to the CB by Joe the Stickfiddler (Or Joe Dosie Doe), it was a "What if..." game. Usually, the creator of the thread would create the "What if's..." but I am going to keep it open to everyone. Feel free to make your own, as weird or realistic as you want, and answer them! Here are some to start us off:

1. (Revisiting my old PandaQuests) What if you woke up in the middle of a bamboo forest, with nothing but your bed, a giant panda eating right in front of you?

2. What if you got locked in an insane asylum by mistake, and they only gave you a piece of paper for entertainment?

3. What if your whole family got put on a space shuttle and sent to Mars, and you had enough to breathe/live?

My answers!

1. Haha... I'd stare in awe for like 3 minutes. Then I'd approach it (NOT smart, I know, but stillll!). If the panda seemed aggressive, I would book it and try to escape. Yep, that's me for you. xD

2. Make a paper key and try to escape. If that didn't work, then make paper people and entertain myself until I went insane.

3. Well, if that was the case, time to do some extraterrestrial exploration! That, and of course, collect souvenirs, explore, then realize we cannot survive without food and start panicking. Try to get home if at all possible, realize my bro dumped the fuel out of the rocket, then -- and don't barf -- gather "gasses" like in Space Buddies and the buddies series? Wow, I haven't seen those movies in forever.

So yeah, that's the idea! As many people can answer questions or make them. And seriously, get as crazy with the questions and answers as you want. Because realistically, who would use "gas" (and we all know what I mean) to power a rocket? xD

I remember reading these!

1. I would freak the heck out. I would probably start to think 'Oh my gosh, magic/sc-fi stuff I only see in books exist?" I would find some bizarre explanation and also be scared of the panda. "What if it attacks me? Am I on its territory?" I would perhaps cry because I'm probably far from home and no one will know where I am... I just made that depressing okay.

2. I would demand an explanation, or try to explain that I'm not insane and that this is a mistake. I would ask to see a doctor, or my family. If that didn't work, I would probably cry some more like in the first situation. Maybe make a paper airplane with the paper?

3. I would probably be really excited. Going out to Mars? And the first people to do so? I would feel so proud of myself. I would probably be very irritated though, because I would miss high school and that's important for my education... Also I don't want to spend that long with my little sister. Would we be able to go back? Or is this forever? If forever I would probably be sad because I wouldn't see my friends.

Okay, your answers were actually a lot what I would actually do! I mean, that's a giant panda right in front of you. Logically, you'd run, right? Although I still think I'd stand in awe for a few moments, captivated by its beauty. Nice answers, though!

1. I would start panicking, and slowly try to edge away from the panda until I was far away enough to hide in the bamboo stalks.

2. I would rip the piece of paper up and throw it in their faces when they came to give me food...although that might further convince them that I was insane. Maybe instead I'd spend hours ripping it into tiny shreds and weaving it into an intricate paper lockpick. Although, being me I might just sit there in the corner and cry instead.

3. I would freak out. I'm terrified of heights and enclosed spaces. I would probably start pounding the windows and yelling at the top of my voice for them to let us out. Or, if I was a totally different person I might get excited, pump my fist in the air, and yell, "YES! STAR TREK IMPRESSION STARTS NOW!" And then do the Spock. (Not a crazy dance move, the Vulcan Salute.) LIVE LONG AND PROSPER, PEEPS!

Agreed, love your responses! Although I uhh... I don't know what Star Trek is. I mean, I know it's in space, but that's it. And they have pointed ears xD

I'm sorry! That's all I know. But still, love your geeky answers! GEEKS FOREVERRR!!!
