Ten minutes or so ago, my mom brought me to the kitchen, saying she was going to trim my hair, like she always did.
A few minutes into it I heard her mutter a few distasteful words under her breath, and my guess was that she messed up a bit.
A bit.
A bit being that my hair doesn't even touch my shoulders anymore.
HELP!
What on earth do I do!? I don't normally leave my house in the first place but when I do...I can't let people see me, and I'm even going to summer camp soon, with people I know! HELP!

Welp I used to have super long hair- it was 2 1/2 feet long!!! But then I got it cut, and I like it much better now!!! (Now it is super short,) Plus it's summer, so you will be cooler!!!

I'm so sorry about the mix up! I have a few hair regrets too. When I was in second grade, I got a really short bob, and... yeah. Oops. That was a mistake. So I totally sympathize.
Remember, short hair rocks! You could get a few side bangs and rock a Emma-Watsony look. (BTW, I LOVE Emma Watson, and just got my hair cut to look like her so, yeah. Short hair for the win!) Or kind of put them in waves for a Daisy Ridley look. (Okay, I just love British actresses in general. Yep, I'm just gonna go now)
By the way, I've missed everyone! Sorry I disappeared, I just have a lot of stuff like NHD, and end of the school year, and ick.

Short hair is super convenient! I have boy-short hair and literally all I do in the morning (aside from taking a shower) is comb through it, sometimes just with my fingers. As for a bob, I had one last year, I find them cute and also easier to manage than long hair (especially if yours is crazy thick like mine!) Your hair will grow back, the only advice I can give is to just experiment with a ton of different hairstyle while you still can. When I was a young kid I said I'd never cut my long hair even when I was an old lady, and turns out, I cut it when I wasn't even a teenager and love it. So... it'll be okay! Maybe you should try keeping it short?

agreed keep it short I bet it looks cute on you plus it'll give you a new look for your plays instead of your usual pigtail braids.
