Everything is interesting

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Everything is interesting

Everything is interesting.

Proof: Say it wasn't so. Then, there would be a set of things that were boring. There would be a largest boring thing, therefore making it interesting. But then it's not a boring thing, and there's a new largest boring thing, and that's now interesting too. Conitinueing down the line, everything must be interesting, because there is always a largest or smalles boring thing.

Are you Jack Sparrow (from Pirates of The Caribean)?

No, if something was the most boring thing of all, it wouldn't be interesting; the fact that it was the most boring would be interesting.

Okay, I had to read this about 10 times before I could finally understand it. I agree with you though. The largest and smallest boring things are interesting, so then there would be  new largest and smallest boring things and it would keep on going until nothing was boring anymore. Also, it is impossible to be doing nothing because even if you are just sitting down or lying down that is still something
