Chatterbox: Down to Earth

STOP

STOP

Please stop.

The CB used to be happy place. It used to be full of laughter and joking and everyone was happy. The Admins barely had to step in.

What happened guys?

I want to go back to that time. I know that a lot of you guys will respond with "that's the past. Get into the new times and deal with it." But I can't. I don't want to.

My mind is full of questions like " why does this have to be a big deal?" And "can't people understand that they can't be in charge?" Can't you understand that when you first joined, that was with the understanding that the Admins are in charge? That means they make the rules, what they say goes.

Let's go back to the old time, when we didn't have to worry about this.

~~~~
I'm scared to post this. I'm scared of how much people with answer negativley and how theyll judge me. These thoughts always run around in my head, constantly during my everyday life.
Please understand.
I am so sorry, Butterfly! I had no idea you felt this way. I am also a bit shocked your post got bottomed by someone. I mean, yeah, the CB was - and still is - quite a happy place. I won't argue with your points, I've done that too much today. I just wanted to say I'll support you, and this won't last much longer. We'll go back to being a good old happy CB family again. Just give it... time. Give it time, okay? *Hugs*!
I have often felt the same way lately and have taken to just avoiding threads that deal with things like that. I have always loved the way the CB was a family, with the Admins as a sort of parent and the CBers as siblings, but I feel like that family has begun to fall apart recently. Like all the children have decided that they are too old all of the sudden to listen to the Admins. But writing this post has made me think of something. Most of the CBers that were here when I joined are always saying that so many of the people they knew so well on here have left, and that they are sad because of that. But I've realised that one day I will be one of those people. The ones that are what led new people to join and veiw us as a community and that complain that all the ones who were here when I was new have left and I will miss them so, so much. And one day I will leave as well, and someone may think that about me, and someone the same about them. It really shows that life is a circle, in so many ways, that an end doesn't have to just be an end, it can be a beginning as well. And that life, like a circle, has no definite beggining or end. Yes all of our lives will end eventually, but we will pass on life, each in our own way. Just as we will each change the world, whether it be through big things, or a small act of kindness that caused someone else to do something big, and maybe you were kind to that person, because someone else was kind to you. And it goes to show that while nothing can be infinite, they can go on for a very, very, very long time.
Wow that was a long rant. I just kind of let everything out. I don't do that very often, but it felt really good. It did get very off topic though...
Aww... that was so... like poetry. I really, really loved "that an end doesn't have to just be an end, it can be a beginning as well" because it's true. I'm sorry, don't mind me. I was just left in awe by what you said.
I get how you feel, Butterfly. And I know it's hard, but we'll all get through it together. This has happened before on the CB, these "war" things, but look where are now. Still together, still comforting each other, still friends and family.
We should stay with our friends. Stay together. Ok?
I feel the same way Butterfly. A lot of us do. You aren't alone. *hugs*
