My aunt found

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

My aunt found

My aunt found out today that she might have leukemia. :'( so please keep her in your thoughts! :'( I'm so sad, right now. My cousin (Her step-son) is mad because she went through breast cancer and now she has leukemia! And my other cousin (her daughter) is probably devastated! I would be! So please just think/pray about her! That would be very wonderful of all of you! :') (watery smile)

Maggie, there are wonderful treatments for leukemia. We'll pray for your aunt's treatment and recovery. There are many healthy, active cancer survivors in the world today!

Oh, Maggie...I'll pray for her and your family. And all of us will be right here whenever you need us. I know how you must be feeling, my grandfather had cancer for a couple years. But my second grade teacher also had cancer, and she beat it. Now she's still teaching and still incredibly cheerful, so remember that there is always hope. *hug*

Aww, Maggie, I'm so sorry for you and your family and will definitely be praying for your aunt!!!  Oh, I don't know what to say, other than I will be praying!!!

I'm wearing one of my Relay for Life T-shirts right now, Maggie. I've been on a team that raises money for the American Cancer Society for at least ten years. We'll be walking all night this Friday, June 19-20. We'll be thinking of your aunt--and of many others! The motto is: Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back!

That's cool, Admin! :) Maggie, I am still thinking of your aunt and praying for her and her family! Like many other people have said, there are A LOT of treatments for leukemia, and all kinds of cancer. A friend of ours is going through chemo now, and it looks like she's doing well. And my mom had cancer, and she's fine.

Your aunt will be in my prayers, Maggie! I really will be praying for her. The good thing is there are so many treatments for leukemia. *runs off and does some quick research* If I read all that right, I think that leukemia is the most commonly survived cancer! *Dear Lord, please protect Maggie's aunt as she goes through this hardship...*

I'm sooooo sorry, Maggie!
