CONTACTS!

Yay, I'm getting contacts! Does anyone here have them? Tips? My brother had this problem called GPC, so I'm HOPING I don't have it, because it makes it hard to wear contacts, and my mom had it too.

According to my mom, hard contacts are better than soft. I have glasses and hate things in my eyes, but I will eventually get contacts.

For bifolcoals, glasses are better than contacts. EVEN THOUGH I'D LOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE CONTACTS! Oh well, most people like me better with glasses.

My brother has contacts. It took maybe a week, maybe two, of like fifteen tries to get one in or out, but by now of course it's easy for him. Great! I hope they go well.

Cool! I have contacts too. About four years ago I got glasses but I NEVER wore them. A few years, when I had my eyes checked again, I decided I actually liked being able to see. So I got contacts! I've never really had any problems with mine, except for when I first got them it was really hard for me to put them in and take them out of my eyes. Now I'm used to them though, and it's super easy. Good luck! :)

Yay for you! I wear gel contacts when I play sports, cause I always break my glasses. I find that soft are better. They are easier to put in and take out, and they are really comfortable, cause they mold to fit the shape of your eye. My friends that wear contacts wear the same kind. Advice? Make sure that your hands are really clean before you even touch the contacts or open the case. It hurts when stuff gets stuck under them. Other than that,  you should be fine!

I would never get contacts, personally- I *love* my glasses a LOT- but I definitely know that it works better for some people, like for Koffee when she's playing sports. Good luck, Grace! :)

Ditto!!!!! I heart my glasses. Just now, they are incredibly smudged from my track meeting. I need to go clean them.................

I love my glasses too, they can just get in the way :D:D:D. Not that I'll be playing sports for a while though. My knees are pretty bad. No running for a year :(:(:(:(. I'm soooo sad, because next spring I really wanted to break the 800-meter record for my school. Oh well, I guess it's swimming and biking instead of basketball, soccer and track. Sorry, I'm off subject. My point is, you will grow to love your contacts after a while *so convenient*. And yes, I recommend the throw-away daily ones like Allison said. Once you get used to them, you'll probably want more permanant ones.

My dad says he wore contacts when he was younger and they scratched his eyes. Now he has floaters (you know, the little spots you see after looking at a bright light), except he sees them all the time. I'm not trying to discourage you from wearing contacts, of course. Hope you like them!

Grace, I just got my contacts a week ago! They can be pretty hard to put in at first, I tried for ages at the eye doctor's to get them in. This morning, however,  I got them in on my first or second try, so you get used to them. Remember to ALWAYS wash your hands before touching them. I got soft contacts, because that's what everyone in my family wears, and at first I'm using the throw-away-daily-ones so I can get used to them. Good luck with yours! :)

That is just like me! I'm using the throw away daily soft ones! :) Haha, I'm going to try to get them in on the first try! I know I won't be able to, but we'll see!! :) *runs off to the bathroom to see if she can find a good method.... * ;)

Oh my gosh, I can't wait until I can get contacts. Does it hurt to put them in? Cool
