Busy Summer...  Ugg.

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Busy Summer...  Ugg.

Busy Summer...  Ugg.

It's hardly even summer yet, and already, it's practically all booked up!!  I'm not used to this.  We usually have nothing to do in the summer!!!  (except our annual family camping trip)  :)

But just a few things of the top of my messy brain:

My cousin is getting married in July (YAY!!!!)

I practically broke my toenail off yesterday and now it hurts to walk on it, so I have to walk with my toe in the air...  :(      *howls in pain*  (I watched Howl last night for the bazillianth time... I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!)

I'm actually going to audition for something next week and NOTHING is going to get in my way.  (EEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!)

Family camping trip. (YAY!!!!)

Fourth of July.  (EE!!)

My singing recital.  (we do that twice a year)  (EE!!)

The fair.  (I'm entering something {ee!!!!!!!!!})

Father's Day...  (I don't even have a gift for him yet)  :( :( :(

Grandma's B-day... (ditto)  (oh wait, mom got her a gift card *whew*)

Daddy's B-day  (Uh... I think I'll get him one of his fav movies...)  (I'd get it for Father's Day, but it wouldn't get here in time)

Now, that may not sound like a lot you all of you, because you are all probably really busy all the time, but for me, this is the busiest summer I can remember!!  (I'm sure I've had busier, but I don't remember them)  :D :D :D   hee hee

What are you all doing this summer???  :)   I hope that if you don't like busy summers, yours aren't, and if you do, they are!!  (hee hee)

You think you're BUSY!?

Let me see. I have each week, ballet Mon, Tue, and Thur, clarinet Fri, possibly chamber music Sat, Martia has violin on Wednesday, and then we have to miss all of that for piano camp next week. Then some other week is German camp, then some friends from SC are coming over, plus the fact that school will be starting after the end of July in my area, and my mom has decided to go along with that. We'll be doing a correspondence school! Oh and some piano lessons when our teacher is in town.

Oh yah, and me and my mom are currently making 200 felt bees for Meg's wedding favors.  Ugg but fun!!  She's coming tomorrow to help put the wings, eyes and wires on.  We have the main body with the stripes and stuff done...  *whew*  Ooh, I'll put a photo!  :)

Cute, huh???  Mom did a step by step tutorial for some friends of hers, and took pictures of the whole process, but I guess this will have to do. :)

Oh, too cute! Those rock! Very cool, Laura! And I have this obsession (half joking, half real) about shiny things (one of my weird things). The wings are shiny!!!! Shiny!!!!!! Hehe.

Well, since my dad just got a new job and can't take off a whole week for a vacation, we'll probably be taking a lot of "mini vacations" this year. :D And of course, swimming. Hmmm, there'll be Fourth of July, of course, which isn't all that huge but it's always fun. My little brother usually invites one of his friends and we have fireworks at our house (it usually turns into a competition between us and our neighbors ;D

It's kinda funny). Then there'll be my mom's b-day in August, and then there'll be my b-day which is also in August......And that's all I can think of right now :\  Not too busy of a summer for me, I guess ;D

I can't wait till the 4th! Whoo hoo! Party everybuggy, right? haha! I have some things, but yet not as much as you guys! I have yet ANOTHER graduation, and today I was at a wedding reception in St. Cloud! Yay!

Well, I just had my 14th birthday(!), next weekend I'm going to my aunt's to celebrate, then, in July, I'm going to camp for two weeks, our entire family on my dad's side from TN for a week, and in August, unless I sign up for a play, I'll be able to hang out with my cousin and just relax!!

And this doesn't even include Father's Day, my mom's B-day, and 4th of July.

Busy!

Hey, you're lucky!  Mini vacations are better than none!!  I should know, my dad's a teacher.  :)

You are so lucky on another thing, we aren't allowed to use fireworks at our houses anymore in Sonoma County, because of the fire hazards.  I miss the sparklers most.  We used to sit in the back of my dad's truck after dark and he would go in the middle of the street and set of all kinds of fireworks.  *sigh*  I miss that.  :)

You're right. Mini vacations are still fun. I'm

just gonna miss our long family vacations :\

Anyway, I'll stop complaining! It's too bad that

you're not allowed to do fireworks at your house:(

California is just so flammable! Hey, maybe you

can come to my house on Fourth of July (I wish...:\)!

;D Anyway, hope you have a good summer. Busy

summers can still be fun! :)

Lets see...

Two summer camps, (one of them is tomorrow!!!) Swimming lessons, dog training every Tuesday, and dog agility every Wednesday, clarinet and piano lessons when I feel like it, (my mom is my teacher), many projects for our fair,  math and English every day, dance camp, and regular chores around the farm to top it all off!

There may be more that I am forgetting, but that is most of it.
