I recently got to go see it on Broadway (my first Broadway show) and my obsession has only grown since then. Is anybody else in love with Wicked/Broadway on here?

OMG I LOOOOOVE Wicked! I have only met ONE PERSON who even knows about it!!!!!!! My all time favorite characters are........ Elphaba, Fieryo, annnnd BOQ! I absolutly love Boq! I tried reading the book with my mom..... don't read it until your in your teens. I saw it in New York. At the original theater it was first played in. Which was on BROADWAY!!!!!!!!!

I love Wicked!  Espcially Galinda/Glinda, she's so amazing (I could listen to "Popular" all day...).  I especially like how it's a more modern musical, but keeps away from the whole "pop music" deal.  And yet the songs still have such a great sing-along quality.  Do you have a favorite character?  It's so cool that you got to see it!!!

Ahhhh, I love all of them. I do love Elphaba though, and her vocal range is very similar to mine. I agree about the pop-music thing! The songs are all amazing.

Wicked is my favorite musical of all time, for now. (I haven't seen Hamilton yet.) But I LOOOOOOVVVEEE Wicked! The plot, the storylne, the music! It's all so amaizng!

Yeah, I saw the touring cast! I love that musical. I wanna be Fiyero someday. I love "Dancing Through Life".

*runs in* What did I miss? Nothing? Ok, quick warning, highly EXTREME fangirling ahead. 

I FREAKING LOVE WICKED-THE MUSIC, THE CHARACTERS, EVERYTHING!!! My favorite character is of course Elphaba, and I love the song "Defying Gravity." The storyline is also amazing! 

I love all broadway shows too-Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Newsies, The Secret Garden, you name it! :) 

Just out of curiosity... Admins do you enjoy broadway shows, and do you have a favorite broadway musical/show?  

 

I saw Wicked during its first run in Chicago, which was great, and Phantom of the Opera which was also very good. Now Hamilton is in Chicago so I hope I can see it. I don't know a lot of the new Broadway shows, but I know Newsies from the movie version that came out when I was a kid. I'm a big fan of older musicals. My favorites are My Fair Lady, South Pacific, The Sound of Music, and The Music Man. I love them because they have such clever lyrics and surprisingly deep storylines.

Oh cool! I'm going to see Phantom of the Opera on August 18th for my 16th birthday party... I'm super excited!!!

I love all those old musicals too-The Sound of Music is a really good one, and I always repeat quotes from the Music Man around my friends and family sometimes. I really enjoy the song "I could have danced all night" from My Fair Lady. 

Do you have a specific favorite song from each of the older musicals you enjoy? Or do you just love them all and can't choose one from each? 

  This  is  a  different  Admin  on  now. My  favorite  old  musical  is  Fiddler  on  the  Roof. And  my  second  favorite  is  Showboat . Ooooh, and  Carousel .

How cool! Actually, I've never been to a broadway musical in my life, but my friend, I will call her Lolie, has been to a few. I can't remember if she saw Wicked or not, but I trust it's good.
