Do you want

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Do you want

Do you want to be part of a project? My final English project? Lucky for you, I'm in desperate need of help. We have to do a portfolio collection related to identity, and I'm making a collection of poems about how teens (you guys!) identify themselves.

If you could answer these two questions, I would really appreciate it.

1. In a couple lines, describe your identity

2. In one sentence, what does identity mean to you? I will combine these into a poem.

Again, thanks for your help!

I'll do this!

1) Artist, singer, writer, and collecter of dolls and cute things.

2) It means to me that I'm an oddball but I'm fine with it.

I hope I did that right. :)

1. I'm a way confused kid who's not really sure about anything. I'm male, I'm Jewish, I'm weird. Let's just not label the rest of me for now.

2. Identity is who you are, it's your sense of self, it lets you be what you are.

Ya know what, forget I ever said "I'm male, I'm Jewish, I'm weird." That's not my identity, per se. Replace them in your head with "I exist, I think. I'm not sure, but cogito ergo sum.", please.

Onyx says awgh. Yes, I know this post is ridiculously cringeworthy, thanks. My apologies.

1. I feel my identity is really related to where I live. I play with my rats, and spend most time with my friends in the neighbourhood. I'm quirky, artistic, writistic, and love poetry.

2. My identity is laughing and running and racing, spinning outside and scribbling stories. I feel like what I do and who I am are so deeply intertwined, you can't ever pull them apart.

1. Weird (in a good way), actress, singer, author.

2. Identity means being a unique individual, but most importantly, being you.

1. I'm an artist, a really shy one who doesn't talk much but does think a lot. I like watching videos  and I'm a good listener for the few close friends I have. I do very well in school and I like learning things.

2. Identity to means when you finally decide to accept the things that make you happy and not let other people tell you that you're not supposed to like them.

Happy to help!

1. My identity is in Jesus Christ! He’s my savior, and he died on the cross for me. And you! He made me unique, and had a plan for my life before I was even born.

2. Identity is what makes me, well, me!

1. My identity is an awkward, nerdy almost-teenage bookworm, artist, fantasy nerd and musician who is, most importantly, an imperfect child of God.

No time right now for the second question but I'll do it soon!

1. I am creative and intuitive and I don't fit into boxes. I am not all one thing, but I am many parts of things: Part gymnast, reader, artist, innovator, biologist, writer, observer. I am Jewish, I am strong, I am unsure, I am curious. I am so many differing things.

2. To me, identity means all my fears, hopes, memories, aspirations, and everything that gives me pride. It's who I used to be, how I am now, and who I hope to become. What I've done and what I want to accomplish one day.

1. My identity... is still being discovered. It is the unknown. It is contradictions and paradoxes and staring at the stars, but mostly it is my friends, who are so much a part of me that they are inextricable, beautiful misfits who are the best people in the world.

2. Identity is who you are - what you choose to define yourself by and how you present it.
