WICKED!  Sorry about

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

WICKED!  Sorry about

WICKED!  Sorry about that but I know that the first sentence is also the title. Anyway, how many people like the musical Wicked? I like it, but it is REALLY sad!!! Does anyone know how it ends? It is kind of icky!!!. But interesting. Now I can't stand Dorthy ( not that she was my favorite character anyway) and now I like the scarecrow the most! Please answer this. :)

I've never seen Wicked before, but one of my cousins LOVES it!!!

I have a weird fetish with WoO spinoffs, Wicked and Tin Man were probably my favorites. Anyway, I've seen it thrice... Four times come April when we're going down to Salt Lake, which will be SWEET, they've got a nice theater for not being mainstream. *hem* anyway.

Icky? ICKY? How is that icky? It's tear wrenching, yes, but not icky. The book was another story altogether... Especially in the middle. Don't read it, not for a few years anyway. Raunchy... :|

Anyway. I lovelovelovelove the musical! :DDDDD

What happens in the end? Why is it icky?

OK, I guess it isn't icky, but the Wizard (who ends up being her own father), melts her!!!:( Really tear-wrenching!:(  By the way, I've never really seen the musical, but I know every song by heart, and for our last birthday my brother got the book of the musical and it has parts of the musical in it. It's so cool!:):):)

Poor bloke. Sends Dorothy off to do an army's job then finds out that it was his daughter he had liquidated.

:):):):):)  I have two friends (who sadly moved to WA) who have the same exact sense of humor.  For some reason I like it written down (such as here) more than in real life.  I always start laughing when I get e-mails from them.

Do I?

Really though - the Witch was reportedly Oz's greatest threat, someone shows up from Canzizz ((I <3 Gregory Maguire, just for that)) and the wizard tells her to go do her in, and then -- OOPS! -- Elphie ends up being his daughter.

Yeah, you do.  Fortunatly, it's in a good way.  It's really annoying when people have lame senses of humor.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE Wicked! I'm seeing it in 2 weeks and I am so excited!!! Ive read the book and yah, the middle IS pretty weird... but other than that it is AMAZING! and I love the songs so much, they practically tell the story on their own! But unfourtunealy my class doesn't agree. Someone GAGGED when i put on the soundtrack! I am offended, and it is totally rude to Kristen Chenowith and Idna Menzel (sorry about the spelling) because they are amazing singers/actresses.

Idina Menzel has another "i" in her name, and Chenoweth is spelled with an "e" not an "i." And they are amazing, definitely. Tell your classmates that they have no taste. Stephen Schwartz is a brilliant man.

Wait--the Scarecrow? I mean, Fiyero was great but what about *hem* ELPHIE!? Elphaba-Fabala-Elphie-Fae? The awkward green girl who ended up being the most formidable creature in all of Oz? Hello? The protagonist? How can she not be your favorite? *is in shock*

Even Glinda was greatly redeemed from her original self, the stuck up little... *shakes fist at LFB*
