The Beach!

I just realized that as far as I know, no one has made a thread for the beach! I'm leaving tomorrow to this beach called CFL. It's kind of like a camp/beach trip. I can't wait! And so you guys don't start panicking, I'll be back on Friday. :)

That is funny... I was just going to make a thread to say I was just at Seaside Oregon for 2 nights!!!!  Have u been there CC???  I love it there!!  Except, sadly, when I was there it was kinda cold and not good BOOGIE BOARDING weather.  The water was ice!!  Last time I went to Seaside, though, I went boogie boarding in the rain, becuz the water was still warm.

Boogie boarding is way cool, isn't it? Once, maybe five years ago, my grandparents took us to Hawaii. We're at a beach, and there are a bunch of sea turtles there. You're not supposed to approach them, you know, so I'm watching one a ways away with my boogie board strapped to my wrist. I feel this bumping on my leg at the waterline, and I think it's my board hitting me cause of the water movement, then I look down and there's a turtle (and a big one!) right there, looking up at me with these mournful, dumb eyes and going konk, konk, konk right into me. Me being something like eight years old and really surprised, I ran onto the beach screaming. Then I went back in the water and the exact same thing happened, not ten minutes later! Talk about weird. I think that turtle had a vendetta against me. Or maybe I just wanted to use vendetta cause it's such a cool word. In any case, it's late here. :P

Woah. You got to go to Hawaii!?.... and

see sea turtles!?... no fair! *kidding*

That is cool, though. I saw a dead jellyfish

washed up on shore once (On the South Carolina

shore, though, obviously XD ), but that's

about the most exciting thing I've seen at

the beach. Well, that and these cool looking

dolphin-like things... I forgot the exact name of

them. And it was funny, because this one girl

got really freaked out and thought it was a

shark. Hee hee.

CC and R.D. are right! The Oregon coast is generally cold. And rainy. And very, very, windy. But I love to visit it! It's soooooo pretty.

:):):):) I've been to the beach six or seven times this year.  I first went in the water in May (the water was 51 degrees...)!!! :):) We go to this beach called Pine Point (but chances are, nobuggy will know about it, since Zoe, Zora, and I are the only Mainers, unlike the millions of people from Oregon), which is connected to the very touristy beach called Old Orchard Beach. :):) Today, I'm going to MA, and if this nasty weather leaves, we might go to a beach there. (But the cances of that are unlikely...) :)

Everybody is going on vacation... some of you NEED to come to Santa Rosa!!!!!!!!!!!

Ooh!! I'll become a traveling agent!!:

We have the gorgeous california coast within a thirty or forty minute drive, via a beautiful scenic route. San Francisco is merely forty minutes south, via the AWESOMEST bridge: The Golden Gate, which I just don't understand the name of, because its dull brick red, and they are ALWAYS repainting and repairing it (that doesn't really have anything to do with it) (but people are always saying, buy the time they finish fixing it, they have to turn around, and start all over again. What ever) (I assume it's that way with most bridges). To the East, we post, I mean boast, glorious mountain views, (although, we're actually surrounded by them, I just had to say east because there's stuff everywhere else) over which you can drive, if you enjoy sickeningly winding roads. :)

*voice changes to monotone*

To the north is where most of our *yawn* vineyards are, though really we're (ugg) surrounded by them. Also, the ugliest lake, Lake Sonoma, that could be beautiful, if it was ever green around it. (sorry Lake Sonoma, it's not your fault)

And that brings us to the end of our little tour guide. If you would like a more detailed description, with some words about the actual Santa Rosa, not the surrounding 'country side', please contact me at 555-1234 thank you! (Admin, incase you are really busy, and didn't notice, I did 555, so it's DEFINITELY NOT a real number) :)

Oh yah! I forgot the most important part!! ME!!! You can see me in Santa Rosa!!! COME!! CONVINCE YOUR PARENTS!!! WE'LL TAKE THEM ON A FREE, NOT VERY INFORMATIVE WINE TOUR!!!!!!! OOH!! MAYBE WE'LL TAKE THEM OUT TO DINNER AT THAT REALLY FAMOUS RESTAURANT IN SONOMA, THAT I HADN'T EVEN HEARD OF UNTIL I SAID THE WEIRD NAME AND MOM SAID IT WAS FAMOUS!! Oops, all caps, sorry Admin. I think it's something about a girl and fig...

See ya!!

I don't even remember what this was about in the first place... *scrolls to top of page*

Oh. The beach. *collapses in a fit of giggles*

Sorry if you guys think I'm weirder than usual, it's only because I'm not weird in real life unless I with my cousins, and I haven't seen them in a while. Plus, not being on here... I have a lot of pent up weirdness. Let's hope this was most of it, and I'll be back to normal next time I post.

See ya!!! For real this time!! Uh... sorry this was so long!!!

I read the third Harry Potter in about a day and a half. Ee!! Creepy!! A lot bloodier, and more graphic than the first too... Nasty stuff. Good thing the books are so good, or I wouldn't have wanted to finish reading them. On to number four!! Dementors are CREEPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok this time I swear I'm leaving. BYE!!!!!!!
