Yeah. So I have two li'l confessions that I'd like to address before the new year.
One is that...gosh, this is hard to say now. Once, I impersonated myself.
I think, at the time, other people had been impersonated, like Butterfly. There have been several rounds of impersonations in the past; this was during one of them, I think it might have been then. But anyway, the people who got impersonated were getting lots of attention, and little attention-seeking me (who, at the time, idolized a bunch of CBers like Cho, Daisy, Brookeira, Danie, Butterfly, and others) wanted to get in on that. So I made a thread saying that I was leaving. Apparently, I did such a good job of impersonating my own impersonator, (who, by the way, had atrocious capitalization skills) that it was up for such a short time before the Admins deleted it that I never even got to see it.
Note: this was not during the most recent impersonations. I legitimately was impersonated then. I'm talking about a time farther back. Since then, I have never impersonated myself again, nor have I impersonated anyone else. I would only do that to myself, never to others, and that was only when I was younger.
It was good to say that. Now, the second confession is a little bit lighter....
Does anyone remember Hermione Fett? (Admins: this is a fictional name, made of Hermione Granger and Jango Fett smushed together.) The hyper 7/8 year old who, somehow, was pretty intelligent and had great grammar and spelling (and typing) skills? Well, she disappeared quite a while ago but that was me. I had thought that it would be fun to have an alias, another CBer whom everybody thought was a legitimate person. But anyway, what I'm saying is that she was not, I made her up.

I think that was really brave of you to say that and no-one blames you in any way. Just so you know, I think a lot of people have done something like that before so you're not alone. I once created another CBer, kind of like an AE, who posted only once or twice. I don't know why but I found it fun.

I have a confession to make.
Does anyone remember me? No? I get it. I was only on for ten days. I was filling a sheet out for a ski lodge, and changed my name without telling anybody. A month later, I found out that a CBer in the past had the same name. Go ahead, guess me. I feel fine to let it out.
@Leafpool: I will probably never understand how much courage tha took, but I respect how you mustered it up, right when Older CBers were coming in.

*hugs* It's okay. And I understand, too. I've considered messing around with impersonation and other 'me' people on Cricket. I forgive you, and I'm pretty sure that we all do.

Kind of off topic-but I do think that that is a common problem of feeling left out and unoticed/not "popular" on the CB.... it's one of the most common problems that starts more "wars" here...
We should do something about this.

Love you Leafy. It took courage to say this, and even after you told us this, I don't see you at all as someone who is a jerk or anything like that. We all make mistakes to be noticed. But then we make up for them.

Heyyy, it’s okay Leafpool. I don’t thinkkkk I was around when u did this, but that’s not an uncommon thing people do on the CB, especially making up a second CBer, and I know what you mean about being unnoticed. Plus, impersonating yourself and impersonating someone else are very diffferent things, the latter which is much worse obviously (but to those who have impersonated, as long as you apologize, own up, fix what you did and don’t repeat, you can make things up too...you’re not hated forever). It’s good you mentioned it to us, that way you could get what was probably a bit of a weight of your chest, which you don’t deserve You’re a lovely person Leafpool :)
Also, I just want to confess something too...a while ago, I think either late 2015 or early 2016??? I made up a CBer named Hootsie, who wasn’t on the CB very long so I don’t know if anyone actually remembered them. I would have them have conversations with me or join clubs/role plays/threads I made. I got tired of it quickly, honestly it was quite silly, especially since I used another owl username so maybe that was telling, but yeah. I know what you mean.
