Random Thoughts/Things?

Random Thoughts/Things?

I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

if theres a diagon alley (diagonally) there should be a horizont alley (horizontally) and a vertice alley (vertically). If there's a knockturn alley (nocturnally) there should be a diurn alley (diurnally).

also happy birthday to me, yay

Guys. WHY IS THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE SO DANG CONFUSING??!!!

Okay. So there are contractions. Is not becomes isn't, does not becomes doesn't, are not becomes aren't. So why does am not not become amen't? How does THAT make any sense? I used to say amen't and then people would be like "no, that's wrong," and I'm like AUUGGHH WHAT THE HECK ENGLISH

Anyone else?

I KNOW English is CONFUSING!!!

But I can answer that one about am not.

You would say 'am not' in the context of 'I am not', and I & Am already contract to I'm. If you were to use it with someone else (You, they, etc.), you would use 'are', and there IS a contraction for that!

But anyways,

You bake cookies and cook bacon?

You fill something in by filling it out?

Well, English is very confusing, and I would definitly be one to use amn't ( i think I actually did once ) But you could just say, "I'm not" lol. You can still use amn't I just think that's the reason you aren't supposed to use it, because it would be replacing a far more common contraction. Sorry if I'm being annoying lol

I am somewhat torn between wanting to go back to a time without processed foods that always come packaged in throwaway plastic, like a time when you made all your own food and bought flour in sacks from the general store, & liking Honeymaid graham crackers

YESS. Why are Honeymaid crackers SO GOOD?! Other generic ones just don't taste right.

True, very true. My mom usually buys generic, but one time they were out so she got Honeymaid and I'm obsessed :P

Sooooo good
