I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Do you ever do that thing where you ask someone for advice, like "should i wear the red shoes or the blue shoes," and they say, "red, definitely red," and then you decide immediately that your life would be ruined if you don't wear the blue shoes?

YES. Whenever I ask someone for advice on which thing to choose it ends up completely pointless, because either 1. they're like "I dunno, choose for yourself" or 2. I completely ignore what they say and continue to ponder which one, or 3. I immediately choose the other option. XD

My sister is playing Christmas music on the piano... Help. It's not Thanksgiving yet, therefore Christmas music is not appropriate. NO

UGH! My sister just got a new book of piano sheet music from her teacher, and it is NOT GOOD. She has gotten Carol of the Bells stuck in my head every day for about a week, and so my humming is going against my personal and moral values. Not only that, but my parents have already GOTTEN OUR CHRISTMAS TREE. Granted, it's artificial and lives in the celler, but it still makes me mad. IT IS NOT CHRISTMAS. I shall join you in the location field in an act of solidarity.
Also, why is solidarity called solidarity? Shouldn't the name of an act of togetherness sound a boit less like the word solitude?

I know right?? I drove by a house today completley decked out in Chirstmas lights and whatnot. PLEASE people just wait until December. Thank goodness we have Halloween, or else the Christmas decorations would start in October, probably.

Y'know, I think people are putting out decorations super early because of...well, this awful year. They want to make it as special and as drawn out as possible.

That's true. I guess we all need an extra dose of happy this year. To be completley honest, we proabably would be planning our decorations, too, if not for the rule in our household that we can't really prep for the winter holidays until after my mom's birthday on the 7th... when she was a kid she didn't want her bday to be overshadowed by Christmas so my grandma made the rule and it's stuck around XD Still... there's only so many times I can listen to my sister play jingle bells...

XD that's a good rule. I always wait until after thanksgiving, specifically the first day of advent (sunday after thanksgiving) Today I was shopping and every store was playing Christmas music, and it's just too catchy- And Mariah Carey OH My goodness
