I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

I live in NOVA and its so funny how each time it snows everyone freaks out! Oh it hasnt snowed in a whole year. We had three feet a few years ago, and its only an inch now... but we still have to freak out. I dont understand it. My family is from CA but I was the only kid born in VA. So Im native and this is normal to me. But the rest of my family hates the cold and snow. They think im CrAzY that I walk outside without a coat lol

So, I'm super late, and totally answering to the page before this, but Hi, Alizarine!!! I'm extroverted... even though I am sometimes self Conscious about being self conscious. Weird combination. Wait, actually not, it's usually the loudest person in the crowd that's the most self conscious XD.
So! Recent event that happened to me and also happens to be the reason why I am NOT in school right now!
I had midwinter vacation (does everyone have that?) Monday - Wednesday. On Monday, my family and I went skiing/snowboarding! I chose to try snowboarding, event though when I was younger, I went skiing. So in the beginning I was doing horribly, but then at the end of the slope (which I just kept falling down) I pushed off and went all the way till the end! Then we went for our group lesson and he tought us how to turn! I went up the magic carpet thing (which only goes partly up the slope)a couple of times, and then I was going to be finished for the day, but I went for one last run down the FULL slope this time with my brother (who was skiing). I had already fallen a couple of times on my tailbone, and it had hurt a lot but it had been fine. Then, when I was probably about halfway down the slope, I went off a snowdrift, and landed EXTREMELY hard on my tailbone. It hurt so bad I could barely breathe, and my brother had skiied past me already. I shouted his name a couple of times, and my sister came because she and my mother had been waiting at the bottom of the slope for both of us.
They ended up taking me to first aid on a snowmobile. For the rest of the week, I can barely move - sit, walk, bend down, and ahhhh I can't dance!!!! But it's getting much better :) and I can do things much better now. We actually had to get me a special pillow thingy it's kinda funny (except that now I'm afraid to go skiing or snowboarding again). It's basically a joke in my family right now "_____ has a Bruised Butt!!!" XD. It just sounds hilarious, especially because of the alliteration!
But really, it's just a miracle I'm not paralyzed, and I'm thankful for that every day because of how much worse it could have been!

Oh, gosh! That’s awful! It sounds really scary. I’m glad you’re okay, though! I hope you continue getting better. Oh man, though, I can relate to the not being able to dance thing. That happened to me recently, when I twisted my ankle. It actually happened at dance, and I had to sit out for the rest of class. It’s one of the worst feelings!

Some random stuff I'm really heccin excited for:
-DHMIS! I'm pretty sure that there's already been a screening of the new episode, buuuut it hasn't been released to the general public yet
-Marina's new album! I saw on her Insta that it coming in 8 days and all I can say is: h e c k y e s
-Umbrella Academy! The tv show is coming out next month and I am r e a d y .

For a while I kept thinking I smelled flowers. I wonder if somebody was wearing perfume?

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a band with the name of a person, only nobody in the group had that name?
Dead grass is actually really pretty. So are dilapidated buildings. Wait, where do I know the word “dilapidated” from?

Kinda like the (old*) band, Steely Dan? Doesn't 'Steely Dan' sound like it could TOTALLY be the name of someone, and yet, it's not!
*By old, I mean 60s. :P. Yes, my family still listens to that stuff. Some of it's actually pretty good. But not that one with cemenery school or something...
Oh! Has anyone else heard of Woodstock? Like, Woodstock from 1969, where it was 3 days of Peace & Music? Probably not.

@Alizarine yessss, I saw that! I was just like wow, this is so perfetc and horrible I can't even. XD
I own 4 pairs of boots. Why do I need 4 pairs of boots? Answer: I don't. One pair doesn't even fit. I own jewelry I never use, too, and it bothers me so much.
I need something else to do with my life. Like, another hobby. All I do is stare at my Chromebook, play MCSM, and read, then fangirl over the books and MCSM (even when there's nothing to fangirl over XP). I guess I do voice practice too, but I don't often want to. If only I knew how to play the electric drum set pad thingy in the basement...

@twirlgirl it sounds like you bruised your tailbone! I’m really sorry that sucks it’s really painful. I have a lovly ski story of my own you ready?!
So my childhood bestie and I were skiing ya know, and we were like 10? 11? Anyways it was the day before my brother's birthday and she was staying the night cause she’s basically our sister. *cough cough* So we were skiing, I was skiing she was snowboarding and I was pretty good at skiing and she was having trouble catching up. We were almost at the bottom of the hill where the car was and she wrecked hard core just a little ways up. But she got back up and slid down to us. She said she was fine (lies). So she stays the night and said she isn’t feeling that hot so my mom gives her some medicine to help her sleep. She sleeps. Next day is my brother birthday and about halfway through she starts crying cause she’s in so much pain and had to be driven home. Turns out she broke her collarbone clean in half! She had to wear a sling for awhile. It’s a great story lol
