I just realized that my CBversary is in like 2 months.

My socks are wet from capture the flag, who else forgets an extra pair of socks for PE? 

@Leafpool, I noticed the blue text box thing too! That’s so weird, I wonder why that happened. 

I’m currently in NYC with my orchestra. We have a concert in Carnegie Hall tomorrow (ahhhh). Right now everyone else is going to the Met, but I’m not feeling well so they’re letting me stay at the hotel. It’s unfortunate but I’ve been to the Met several times before, so I don’t feel like I’m missing TOO much. It’s pretty ironic— I spent most of the first couple days of the trip feeling emotionally awful and sad and lonely, and as soon as I start to have fun, I feel awful PHYSICALLY! Sigh. I’ve just been lying on my bed listening to music, even though there are a million better things I should be doing with my free time.

@Soren, I know it was a while ago that you brought this up, but I have a pixie cut too and I also get mistaken for a boy sometimes! It’s really weird when that happens, because other than the hair I don’t look masculine at ALL. The other day I was literally wearing a floor-length concert dress and someone called me “young man”. Like, come on. It just goes to show how universally we associate certain characteristics with masculinity or femininity. Wild.
