The pandemic: Is still a very serious, ongoing thing

It's ridiculous and kind of infuriating. 

I was just in a virtual Riordanverse club, and this one kid kept opening random files and found this thing he called "the God page" and-

I think he almost destroyed the computer ^^;

I made an azuki bean cake with coconut frosting! I found a cake recipe and modified it, the main ones being adding cornstarch, beating the eggs a lot, and adding azuki bean paste. Then I made coconut buttercream frosting with coconut cream (the solid part in the can of coconut milk), butter, and a lot of powdered sugar. The frosting turned out to have a stronger flavor than I'd thought, which might end up overpowering the more delicate flavor of the azuki. My insipration was that I'm from Hawaii, though my dad had to move for a job so I don't live there anymore, and at a shave ice (or ice shave, as my dad grew up saying it) stand you can often get haupia ice cream (haupia is a delicious coconut thing that you should absoloutely try) with azuki beans on the bottom of the shave ice. And it's so good : )

In other news, I got my second COVID vaccine two days ago and my arm is getting less achey, which is good because I can practice viola and violin again!!! Not as much as normal though >: ( But yeah. The thread is called "Random thoughts/things", and this is certainly a random ramble, and rambles are a thing, so I guess it fits XD

it's my birthday today!! :)

I just had to get my passport renewed because apparently both your parents need to be there when you do it. Today was the only day both of mine weren't working (cause they took it off for my birthday). Sad how these things work out, isn't it? :/
