where i live there are tiny cute jumping spiders. today, i found one and put my finger in front of it. the spider reared up

squeaked.

It's kind of crazy this thread is only three-ish years old and we already have almost 400 pages of random thoughts/things! There must be so many interesting thoughts and messages in those pages, I should dig around in them a little bit and see what I find...

In Ancient Greece, "agora" was what the Greeks called the marketplaces in their towns.

Oh, also, I looked up 'agora', and turns out it's an actual word.... It's a central public space in ancient Greek city-states. Oh, cool! We're learning about Ancient Greece in core at school. The literal meaning of agora is gathering place or assembly.
