Snow thread. So

Snow thread. So whenever it snows you can share it here. And what you did with it. (nothing is okay).

It has been snowing for almost the entire day today. The driveway was shoveled at 7 o'clock, at 8 o'clock you could barely see that anybody had done anything. My brother and I created a large fort, but the snow wouldn't pack.

Oh yeah, it snowed a lot here! We got more snow than we've gotten in a long time, which my dog Casey loves-- she likes to eat snow and bounce around in it. We also went sledding, which was fun until I hit a tree and would've probably died, or at least gotten a serious head injury, if my dad hadn't steered me out of the way of a tree. I did injure my arm, but not too seriously. It was still fun after that tho, once my arm stopped hurting-- we went to the nearby cafe for hot chocolate and cookies. My dad and I also shoveled the sidewalk at our tae-kwon-do school, which was unpleasant but appreciated. So ya, pretty fun day.

It's been snowing pretty heavily here as well! It finally stopped yesterday and now we have about 9 inches of snow, but some places have as much as 20. We built a snowman and I'll see if I can upload a pic later. @AW, I think I saw one time that we actually live in the same state, so I'm not surprised you got snow. How many inches did you get?

We got about 4 inches of snow here. Great for sledding! We live near a college campus that has a bunch of hills that are awesome for sledding on, but we hardly ever get enough snow for it.

It's snowing here, too! It's supposed to be a foot my the end of the day, which I don't think has happened in at least 4 years! I'm very excited, and this is only the second snow of the winter. So yay snow!!

We've got about 2 inches of snow right now, and no school. One thing about living in Virginia is that it snows every year and everyone absolutely freaks out every single year. Everyone rushes to the grocery store to buy as much milk, bread, and batteries as they possibly can as soon as there's snow in the forecast. We'll close down schools because of a chance of snow. It's a bit ridiculous, although I am not complaining. No school is great for me, and no midterms is even better!

Last time it snowed was early December, and we got a record breaking sixteen inches. It was insane! And so beautiful. I went for a walk, just wading through the snow, looking at the Christmas lights reflected in the gorgeous sheets of white. It was also the last night of Chanukah, and my grandmother drove all the way down from DC for some reason, so we decided to drive to my uncle's house to see her. We got about a block away from my street and fell in a ditch! Fortunately my dad got the car back on the road and into our driveway, but then we couldn't get the car down to the road again and had to shovel it out!

We just got a big snow! We got stuck in our driveway Sunday. Yesterday my sister threw a snowball right in my face as well. I just love it so much :D NOT!

It snowed here last night! Hardly more than a dusting, but there’s supposed to be more this weekend.

Yay, snow! It snowed here last night, just a bit, but there's supposed to be a HUGE snowstorm coming this weekend and I'm sooooo excited for it! I can't wait to go sledding and play in the snow and (hopefully) get some school delays because of the snow. :D The only downside is that there's supposed to be a lunar eclipse Sunday night that I was excited about, except with the weather it looks like there's going to be a cloud cover. :(

We got more snow, and for a minute it looked like we were going to get even more, but now they think it's just going to be ice. Oh well, it'll still cancel school.

@Cockleburr, I feel you there. I live in Maryland, so the attitudes are pretty similar. Also my school system is huge, and I live in the southernmost part of it, so sometimes they'll cancel because there's snow in northern Mongomery County but not here, so that also helps. Sadly, I can't hope for too many snow days, because our Spring break this year isn't even a week, and I don't want them to take any more days out of it, otherwise it'll be shorter than Thanksgiving break!

Yeah we got a whole bunch of snow.

The forecast said 1 -2 feet, and I think we got a bit more more than a foot, which doesn't happen that often here in NY. But it's pretty cool. It was so gorgeous when I woke up this mornig. Anyone else out ther like watvching the snow fall? It's so calming. The only annoying thing is shoveling it :( Which I have to go do soon...

At least we get a snow day tommorow! Just to chill in my jammies... ahhhh
