Chatting Thread

So yes, go and seek out people. Ask them bizarre questions you've always wanted to ask. Talk about your favorite fandoms, and have fun! (And make new friends.)

Just start writing, and see what happens. Because amazing things will happen. (Let's say I'm 99.99% sure this will happen, and we'll call it 100%.)

Excuse me for my love of parentheses.

@Silverwaxwing: Not bad at all! *I say as I'm messing with my hair and trying not to destroy it lol*

Does anyone else like to play with hair? I mostly only play with my own; Coco's is too fine. :(

I usually braid it or throw it in foam curlers, almost never using heat on it. Though, since my hair has been cut I've been braiding it a lot less and curling it a lot more. Right now it's just touching my armpits right now. (Yes, that sounds weird, please excuse me.)

I'm terrible at doing hair, so no, sorry.

Is there anyone else here who loves dancing but can't find lessons? *looks around hopefully*

Also, can someone explain how ski lodges work? Like, who decided who the Murderer is, and... how the whole thing works?

Ski lodges are usually written by one person, the one who creates the thread. Others submit characters to answer the invitation to a ski lodge, resort, cruise boat, etc. The writer creates episodes in which the characters die by some mishap one by one. The last one left is the murderer. In the original ski lodge (or one of the early ones) the writer put the name of each character on a separate slip of paper and put them all in a sugar bowl. Each day she drew one name to be the one killed that day. The one left at the end was the murderer. It reminds me of an Agatha Christie mystery, if you're familiar with them.

Ah, I tend to just brush my hair and be done with it. Once my mom and sister curled my hair in foam curlers, which I thought was hilarious (I felt like a teenager from the 80s...) but it ended up curly the next day, which just so happened to be the day I got my learner's permit for driving--so in my picture I have curly hair! I enjoyed it, but not sleeping in the curlers.

By the way, what time is the live chat? I'm so excited for tomorrow!!!

7 to 9 pm Central time

Ooh, I adore playing with/doing hair! My hair is very long and pretty good to work with, so I can do a lot with it. Though sometimes the sheer amount of it makes it hard. XD I mostly do my own because my mom's hair is layered and hard-ish to work with, and I don't have any sisters, so whenever I'm around friends I jump at the chance to do their hair. XD I love braids especially. Sometimes I'll look up cool braids to try on myself when I'm bored. I can also do a mean dutch braid on myself, a regular braid, and a slightly lousy french braid, among others. People always seem to be in awe of the fact that I can braid my own hair without looking, but honestly it's not hard, mostly just a matter of practice and muscle memory. I also just like playing with hair, and when I'm bored or sitting around I'll almost always be running my hands through my hair, twisting it around my fingers, braiding tiny braids into it, etc. I'll stop now, but I could seriously ramble about my hair/hair in general all day. :P

I used to be really into playing with my hair and trying out elaborate styles, but now I've got it cut so it's just above my shoulders. I curl it a lot more as well (with these overnight headband curls that miraculously work), but there's not a whole lot else I can do with it!

Happy Valentine's day, everyone!!! *throws confetti*

Ack, unfortunately I will miss the first part of the live chat (wait is it happening now? ....ugh, different timezones are confusing.) But I'll be around later today to join the fun!

When I had long hair I used to braid it a lot, but now that it's heavenly short (a bit longer than chin length) and I rarely braid it. Mostly I just throw it into a pony or some such simple thing!

Does anyone paint nails? I rarely do, but I painted mine pink for Valentine's day! Now I look like a five year old...hmm.

My CAPTCHA (Maggy, if you didn't know) says "twet" - she wants to chat too!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

@Cho Chang: So great to see you again! Probably the first RPs I got involved in was your Star Wars RPs. Speaking of which, I'm going to do a new Star Wars RR for Valentines Day. Just though You might want to know ;)

Happy Valentine's Day to you too, Codesmith!

@Cho Chang- I love styling hair! I don't like styling my own because I have curly hair and it just goes poof when I try to do anything to it. But one of my favorite pastimes is styling my little sister's hair. XD I would honestly be seriously considering pursuing cosmetology as a career if I didn't love editing more, though.

In order to find and top a thread, you have to click the "submitted by" button once, wait for the page to load, then click the "submitted by" button one more time for it to show the most recently posted threads. XD
