Hello! It's me,

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Hello! It's me,

Hello! It's me, Danie, nerd extraordinaire, coming back so I can participate in all these 2019 reunion shenanigans.

I already have seen a very many couple of familiar faces - as well as new faces - and I'm so excited to talk with you all again and meet whoever I haven't met yet.

I honestly cannot keep track of when I last posted on here. I was a bit of drama queen - still am! - and I recall disappearing and reappearing quite often. Either way, I might see if I want to get into any of the RPs back on Inkwell.

Cheers to you all! (P.S., if any of y'all play D&D, let me know! I've been obsessing over the game for the past year, and it would be cool to find some other fans!)

Hi, Danie! I think someone asked about you a few weeks ago.

I don't know who you are either, so nice to meet you as well! I'm glad we have a new crowd on this website :)

@Admin, someone was asking about me? That's new information for me, haha! I'll look around to see if I can find the post.

I think it just said something like: Is Danie still here? Or maybe: I wonder what happened to Danie.

S.E!!! Oh my gosh, hello!! It's so amazing to talk with you again, I'm happy you came for the reunion!!

I've been doing pretty good! Sophomore year of high school has been preeeetty stressful (0 period has certainly taken a few years off my lifespan) but we're having a week off soon which is great! How're you? You're in your junior year, right? I hope you've been doing good with the workload, just thinking of next year makes me anxious, haha.

I hope some of the other oldies make it for the reunion as well, it would be nice to see everyone else too!!

Hi Danie!!! It’s so great to see you and all the older CBers back again! I’ve been interested in D&D for a while but haven’t actually found anyone willing to try it out with me, so I have not actually played it before. I’ve been really busy with school stuff but I’m trying to make an actual return to the CB this time - as in, more than three days. Which I have succeeded in doing so far. How’s life been outside the CB?

Oh my gosh, Riddler, it's so good to see you, hello!!

I haven't been able to really play D&D a lot either IRL because I don't know a lot of people who do, but I've been doing it online a bunch! It's not reallyy the same, but it's still pretty fun!

Life outside CB has been pretty hectic with school work too. The AP exams are getting closer and closer, and I've been trying to figure out what classes I'll be taking next year. But I've been taking up biking lately, and that's really fun! I'm hoping we can go on another trail once the rain lets up. I hope life outside of CB has been good for you too :)

Hey, Danie!! It's so great to see you again! By the way, I recently got into D&D too! Do you have any of the extra books/your DM? Are you the DM for your group? Have you tried being the DM? I'm DMing a for a group, and am trying to DM for two more. I'm only acting as a player in two. Does your DM homebrew/you much? We must have started at about the same time! Well, technically I've been doing it for almost two years, but I haven't regularly played until last summer.

*hugs* It's so good to see you. :)

Hellooo!! It's wonderful to see you too!

I've been playing D&D since the December of 2017, but pretty on and off, so you probably have more experience in the game than I do :)

I've DMed before, though most of my experience is as a player, so I don't think I could offer you a lot of experience or advice for being a DM. Since I play online, the format for D&D is a bit different as well, too. I play and moderate a large PBP (Play by Post) D&D discord server, where everyone has a PC and the DMs put out random quests on the "quest board", where the PCs can look at them and sign up for whichever one suits their fancy, which pretty much means its not as plot focused as campaigns usually are.

It sounds confusing, but it's been working out for me at the moment, until I can grab an actual campaign. Because of the large scale of the server, it's mainly RAW, but I've played in homebrew campaigns and they're quite fun.

So glad that there are people here who share my hobby!!

Well, I've done it on and off for about three years, but never consistently until fairly recently, if that counts for anything. XP

Your way of playing is super interesting! I've heard of doing it over videos before, but never over a forum like that! It sounds super fun and more one on one.

Hi, Danie! I feel like I've seen your name somewhere before, but you probably don't know me. If you'd like to know more, go find one of the introduction threads. Sorry, I'm lazy today.

I am incredibly obsessed with D&D! Luckily for me, I have a group of people to play it with (though we're all busy, so haven't met in a while). What are your favorite classes? Races? Fun facts? I love wood elves because they're nimble and beautiful and value art. Plus, they work well for the classes I like, seeing as those are all the Dexterity classes: ranger, rogue, monk, etc. Fun fact: In my campaign, we didn't coordinate ahead of time, so we have - let's see - 2 clerics, 3 druids, 2 rangers, a bard, and a monk. We're a large group...

Hello! I don't think I've met you before, but it's nice to meet you now!

My favorite races would have to be tritons and.... Hm, probably tieflings and gnomes as well. Gnomes because they're silly and fun and Tieflings because they're fun to draw. Kobolds are fun as well! I have a soft spot for the short races in general, I don't think I could pick a favorite race. It usually depends on the sort of character I'm making.

For Class? Bards, Monks, and Warlocks, but I'm pretty varied, honestly. The only class I'm really not a fan of is fighter, so they're really the only class I haven't played yet.

For my last character, I was a triton warlock/paladin named Nimis! I loved her so much, she was an absolute royal pain to people but that's what made her fun. Now I'm playing Dale, a lore bard/divine sorcerer, who sings music to the dead, and Tate, a cheerful long death monk tieflling who's super fun too! Monks are bomb!!
