Pets Thread!

Do you guys have any pets? There's nothing I love more than talking about my pets, and I'm guessing some people feel the same. If so, this is the place to post pictures, "awww", tell stories, and get advice.

My family has a looot of pets. A dog, two cats, a parakeet, a beta fish, four chickens, and one sheep, to be exact (and planning to get two mini donkeys and another dog in the near-ish future). One cat is my brother’s, the other is a family cat, and the rest of the gang are mine. <3 In case you hadn’t already noticed, I adore animals. :3 I’ll probably come on here later to share stories/pictures (I could talk about my pets forever), but for now here’s a picture of my brother’s cat, Samwise. I’d love to hear about everyone else’s fur babies, too!

I have two dogs: a Great Pyrenees/Labrador mix and a German Shepherd/Pit Bull/something else mix. They like to wrestle with each other. I also have a cat named Natasha, who likes causing trouble and antagonizing the dogs. I can post pictures if y'all want me to!

Funny story about how we got Liza, our other cat—when we first decided to get a kitten for my brother, we had planned to get a hypoallergenic breed since both my parents are allergic. But it was taking us way longer than we anticipated to find hypoallergenic kittens for sale near us, and we weren’t sure how long it might be until we were able to get one. So we decided to foster a cat in the meantime. Y’know, ‘temporarily’ :P. We went to the shelter, fell in love with Liza, brought her home to foster, and...the two weeks we were supposed to foster her came and went. And the shelter never contacted us. And, well, at this point she was a part of the family and we certainly weren’t planning on taking her back for good. We did get the hypoallergenic kitten eventually (Sam, from my previous post), but kept Liza as a part-time-outdoor family cat, and that’s how we accidentally ended up with two cats. XD

Here’s a picture of her from just now. She’s currently snuggling with me on the couch (she’s super snuggly but doesn’t like to admit it xD). <3

I have two pets (not counting my sister's fish which I feed because she forgets...) a dog and a rabbit! The dog is our whole family's but the rabbit is mine. Her name is Callie and she's ADORABLE. Bunnies forever! Our dog's name is Herbie (Odd name, yes, it's his litter name) he's a Formosan mountain dog. Yay for you if you know what that is! It's a breed of dog native to Taiwan. They're mostly ferral cause dogs are more considered food than pets in Taiwan... anyway, Herbie was rescued off the streets as a baby and now he lives with us all the way on the other side of the world! He's still slightly anti-social to strangers, mostly when they're in our house, but to my family and me he's a big cuddle baby. we call him Comfort Dog because all he wants to do it sleep with his head in our laps.
