Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Recipies!!!!!!

Recipies!!!!!!

I am really really hungry right now and the best I can cook is an omelette so here is a place to post easy recipies. Bonus points if they are veggietarian but they don't have to be. Try to stayaway from desserts though, I will make another thread for those. Should I start? Mmmmkay

you will need: a pan, soy sauce, olive oil, mushrooms (more than you think since they shrink when you cook them)

1. cut up mushrooms

2. Oil the pan with olive oil and set it on the fire

3. put the mushrooms in the pan and mix around with a spatula. continue until mushrooms are soft.

4. right before the mushrooms are ready put the soy sauce in the pan and cook for a few more minutes.

optional: put broccoli in and other vegetables

yum yum yum gobble munch enjoy.

Um... oh, okay here's one, starving Adina. It's short. But good.

Ingredients:

Mini Taco Chips (like the Tortilla brand)

Shredded Cheese

Taco Meat

Lettuce

Honey

1. Put the Taco meat in the chips one it's cooked.

2. Tear up the lettuce and put it on the meat.

3. Put the cheese on the lettuce.

4. Dribble a little honey (just a few drops) on the toppings.

5. Yummy! :)

Hmmmm..... Here goes. French bread pizzas.

You'll need:

1 French bread roll (like the kind you use for French dip)

1 can pizza sauce

Some mozzerella cheese

Whatever toppings you like

It's easy - spread the sauce on the bread, sprinkle on cheese, add toppings, set on cookie sheet, and stick in oven for a couple minutes. Great lunch, and can be veggie, unless you won't eat cheese. Or if you're angry about how mean this is to the wheat in the bread. (Joke, veggies, joke. Please don't get mad at me. I understand and respect your choice; I just can't resist cracking lame jokes about you now and again. It's very mildly like my view about Boy Scouts. Only Boy Scouts have a good deal of my respect, and I would actually be one if I was a boy. But I do crack jokes about them, like my "How many Boy Scouts does it take to change a light bulb?" And the answer is 11, I think. :D Sorry.)

*tries really hard not to take offense at Emily H's comment* *says nothing about it*

Anyway, Adina, have you ever tried your recipe with rice? It's really good stir-fried. Then again, you can always get it that way at Chinese restaurants with added sauce... Or you could add your own sauce! Yum! I love stir-fry...
