Nineties. AGAIN. Whoever's in charge of the weather up in Heaven must have a grudge against New Jersey or something... the entire first half of summer was raining nonstop. Absolutely nonstop. And the second half has been incredibly, unbearably sunny. Thank God for AC...

It's been very weird here the past few days. Yesterday, it rained alot in the afternoon and then stopped. It was bright and sunny, and then started raining again for about 5 minutes before the baseball game my family went to last night. Today, it was dry out, started pouring, stopped, started pouring again, then stopped, and then stormed, and stopped. It's now really nice outside, but not for long, I bet............

ZOE!!!  Did you see that wicked awesome storm last night???  IT WAS SO COOL!!!!  Sooo, at 5:30ish (PM), my dad and I left the house to go eat dinner (Wild Willy's, the amazing burger restaurant that has veggie burgers!), when we noticed the sky was pitch black (I guess we hadn't looked out the windows that day...).  It looked exactly like the clouds look like during a tornado (my dad's an expert, because he's been through dozens of tornados ((I've been through about two or three, even though I can't remember them!!)) ).  Anyway, these creepy clouds were all over downtown Gorham and my neighborhood, but beyond that, the sky was blue.  Sooo, at the new bypass Gorham built (near the end of the clouds), we spun around the round-about, went back home, got the cat inside, and closed some of the windows.  Then, we drove through the storm, which followed us all the way to South Portland (20-30 mins away)!!  About every twenty seconds, a HUGE flash of lightning went off (one landed in a field next to us, about 100 yards away!).  When we were done with dinner, the storm was still there.  Then, we spent the next hour at Borders, just reading, and when we came out, the storm was STILL there!!!!  We drove home, and it was SOO cool to be able to see the flash of lightning through the sunroof on the car!!! :):) Anyway, the storm let up about the time that Monk started, soo 9:00.  I guess it was sort of (ok, REALLY) stupid of us to drive through a storm, especially with trees all around us, but it was SO fun!!! :D:D
