I am likewise an "introverted middle schooler, reader, writer, potterhead, and occasional LotR fan." I LOVE the first and second Greenglass House books, but the prequel did not agree with me.  Have you read the Septimus Heap books? If not, they're a seven book long fanstasy series with fairly thick instalments, like Harry Potter. You might like it. It's so cool that you do fencing! That is the sort of thing that I always say I should start, but never actually do. Anyway, I hope to see you around! It is nice meeting you.

Hi evergreen! I used to fence! It was really fun, but we decided that it was too far away from our house so I stopped going. And I like writing short stories too! I mostly post them on my blog, but I sometimes post them here. What do you like to write about?

oh that's cool! I love fencing...

I mostly write fantasy/sci fi. I'm not particularly successful at writing historical or real-life fiction (most of my real-world stories have gotten stuck), but fantasy is amazing. (Another reason why I like the Greenglass house books, Kate Milford somehow makes her real-life situations so interesting. I don't know how she does it.)
