Happiness Challenge 4.0 or something along those lines
This is I believe the fourth reboot of this thread! September originally created it. The idea is to challenge yourself to post one or more things on this thread each day that make you happy--anything at all! And after a little while we'll have a wonderfully happy thread :P

~The song Master & a Hound by Gregory Alan Isakov. I can't really explain it, but this song has this crazy effect on me... maybe it does something to my perspective? Fills me with its kind of meloncholy, soulful sound? Like I said, I can't explain it, but I'm extremely glad it exists.

-being in the ocean and going out deep but not so deep that I can't touch and just kinda floating around in the water and jumping over waves

Being able to talk to your friends after not seeing them for a long time. Even though I sometimes get really annoyed at my friends, and I just want to get away from people and sit in a corner, they are still my friends and I miss seeing them. So I really enjoy any chance I get to talk to them right now.

I had a Zoom meeting with one of my friends who I haven't talked to in a while today, and it was a little awkward but really nice.

Finding out that you're going to be able to go to the beach with your friend after all, even though you thought the tradition was going to be ruined because of covid and because the house you used to stay in was sold... But the custom lives on! I'm so happy!

Whoah, that's weird! My friend and I also have a tradition of going to the beach together, which in the last 3 years has also included going to sleepover camp and then going to the beach, but this year it was canceled. Anyway my happiness for today.
