Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Word of the

Word of the Day!

Hey there folks, it's Jubilee presenting to you my first ever Word of the Day challenge! How this works is that I will post a word of the day on, say, Monday at 8:00, then it'll show up on Tuesday the next morning. Check it out and memorize it. Then try and use it in a sentence that day! When the day is over, post your sentence here.

Word of the Day:

Taradiddle!

Definition:

Something or someone filled with "pretentious nonsense".

See if you can use this word tomorrow!

The great majority of what Thomas Jefferson said was taradiddle.

Did I use that right? I just read Washington: the Indispensable Man and, at least as he's portrayed there, Thomas Jefferson is vastly annoying, to the extent that I don't think the above statement is too much of a stretch.
