Anybody can attend, whether you are an AE, CAPTCHA, CBer, CaptchAE, or some unidentified species. All are welcome!
But you have to wear a costume!

Anywho. The party will be in The Park, and we'll have plenty of food, but feel free to bring some spooky treats!
And there's a HAUNTED HOUSE!

I’ll just shapeshift into one. *shrugs* I’ll wear an emerald necklace and I’ll have sparkles in my fur. *gasp* and I’ll wear bat wings! Me--
I teleport to the picnic pavilion and glance around eagerly. Several people linger around this pavilion and the matching one for AEs, and it looks like a team is setting up a microphone. Sure enough, the mic sends out a ripple of feedback.
"Welcome to our 2020 Halloween party!" Majestic Mary crows. She mentions the food and the haunted house, then says there's a corn maze. I glance to my right, where Winter has appeared.
"I'm gonna try the corn maze. You can head over to the AE pavilion. Have fun!" He nods, though he probably hates that I'm abandoning him. I sprint out toward the maze, patchwork cape fluttering.
Winter--
After Summer leaves, I linger around the pavilion, feeling awkward and nervous. Will people think my costume looks weird? Will they make fun of me if I try to start a conversation? I straighten my vest awkwardly and wish Summer hadn't borderline abandoned me.
A couple of CBers seem to be engaged in conversation. I catch something about Alexa, Siri, and Google, then a burst of maniacal laughter. I'm far too nervous to join the conversation.
I decide to head over to the AE pavilion. Maybe I'll have better luck there. Once I arrive, I take a deep breath and approach the first person I see. "Hi, how are you?" I ask, trying to smile.

Another AE joins our little 'group'. "Hi, how are you?" Winter asks"Hi..You're Winter, right? I'm good, thanks. What about you?" I ask as I return from Spellcaster. "I'm Galaxy, that's Burn over there by the food table, that's Ocean, and that's Spellcaster. I think Cameron can introduce the rest of the AEs, they're NerdFace's." I smile politely.

I just finished asking Ocean a question when a guy comes up right next to me. He’s so white, I swear he looks like a vampire. But his eyes are beautiful. And so is his costume. “Hi, how are you?” He says with that fake smile I always use. I literally can’t breathe, nor can I stop looking at him. “U-um hi. M-my n-name is Adrian. I-i’m good, y-you?” I manage. Ocean realizes that our conversation is pretty much over and goes back to reading her book. And I go back to staring at the new guy.

“Yes, this is a great party. My AEs are being themselves, I brought a lot of food, so it should be okay, cause Burn eats a lot.” Nightfall says to Mary, after I answer. I laugh, thinking about how Dallas eats so much sometimes. My eyes slide over to the AE pavilion and I watch my AEs carefully. They look happy, even Adrian. I’m glad. “Hey, I wonder when everyone else is going to get here. I still have a lot more people to meet.” I say.

"Not really." Galaxy says, in answer to my previous question. "Waterfall is pretty amazing. Oh, and she can mind-read somehow, I don't know why. Pretty useful, and she's really pretty." That’s crazy. I wish we had something cool to ride coming to parties instead of a green minivan driven by my sister. I sigh. I see Aspen and Evan get up, but Galaxy shouts something at them. She says, "Uh, Evan, if you want sour patch kids, you could always ask Spellcaster, she's your age, 10, and she brought candy, a lot of it. There should be some sour patch kids in there." How kind. No one really has any people Evan’s age, so he’s had to mature quite fast. I feel bad for the poor kid. Galaxy whispers something to Dallas, and it must have been harsh, because Dallas flinches. A small girl shows up and Galaxy shouts out to Evan. “EVAN, THERES SOMEONE I WANT YOU TO MEET!" I watch him and Aspen come back. And then I get bored.

Evan and I are heading off when Galaxy says something about Evan and sour patch kids. I pretend I can’t hear in case it didn’t really have anything to do with us. Then, Galaxy shouts, “EVAN, THERES SOMEONE I WANT YOU TO MEET!" Evan startles and I calm him down. We turn around and walk back to the bench we were at. Evan walks over to Galaxy who is standing with a little girl, and I stay standing. <“um. hi. I’m Evan. Who do you want me to meet?”> He says. I sit down. I have a good feeling about this.

"I'm Ocean, and this is Wings of Fire, it's really good, I'm stilllll reading it after a milllllion years." Ocean answers. I think I read Wings of Fire, but I don’t remember. I talked to a person! Suddenly, I am proud of myself for talking to an AE other than my siblings. I decide I should respond, because that’s how talking works. “O-oh, how f-fun. U-um, is there anything y-you want to d-do tonight?” I ask, bored. My stutter is so fun today.

*I’m trying to stop laughing, but I just can’t. Then, a girl comes next to me and hisses in my ear.* “Right now is not the time to laugh at people, ok?!!” *She says. I flinch. No one talks to me like that. I glare back at her, but then I figure that I’m not going to get anywhere glaring at people who are older than me. I decide to stomp off over to the buffet table. Maybe there will be a giant pizza for me to finish.

“EVAN, THERES SOMEONE I WANT YOU TO MEET!" <The tall girl from before shouts at me. Aspen and I turn around and I walk over to the tall girl, who now has a shorter girl right next to her. She’s really pretty. Like really pretty. My dark skin hides my blush. I’m 10. I shouldn’t be thinking about this. I decide I should say something.> “<um. hi. I’m Evan. Who do you want me to meet?>” I say, as if I don’t really notice the frightened girl right next to her and as if I’m not blushing. I believe this is the first person I’ve met that looks about my age.

Nerd laughs and looks at her AEs. “Hey, I wonder when everyone else is going to get here. I still have a lot more people to meet.” Nerd says. "Hey, look, Summer and her AE Winter are here!" I exclaim (a little too loudly) and point to them.

Dallas flinches and glares back at me, then decides against it and storms off towards the table. I smile. Evan and Aspen come back, and I introduce Evan to Spellcaster, who is unbearably shy. I bend down and whisper in Spellcaster's ear, "Be nice, ok?" She nods and I leave her alone with Evan.
---Ocean---
“O-oh, how f-fun. U-um, is there anything y-you want to d-do tonight?” Adrian asks. "Not really. I just came here because Galaxy's forcing me to 'associate' with people." I answer, flicking the pages of my book and finally coming to my bookmark .
---Burn---
I see another AE, Dallas, come over. How exciting. *yawn* I really need more donuts.
---[Spellcaster]---
[Galaxy tells me to be nice and I nod. She leaves me and the other AE alone. He looks about my age. Yay *cheering* finally someone who actually is my age. It's boring being around teenagers who rage at everyone. "So, uh, what's your name? I'm Spellcaster and I think I brought way too much candy." i say, holding up a bag full of candy. "want some?"]

It looks like Evan and Spellcaster are going to have a good time together. I look around to see if there is anything exciting to do at the moment. I decide against that. I stay at the table and pull out my phone. I look at Adrian who is staring at the new boy who just came over. I know immediately what they are thinking and I'm happy. I go back to my phone. And then I get insanely bored.

Dallas hands me a donut and I thank him. "I got a pizza (secretly) if you want it." I say as I offer a pizza box.

I can tell our conversation is over, so I flip and start reading while doodling on the pages with a blue pen.

Cameron looks a bit confused and I explain, "Archer is my ship. He's one of Mahriel's AEs. Lemme go yell at Burn for a sec." I storm towards Burn and scream in his face, saying, "YOU DONT WASTE ALL THE FOOD OK DONT EAT IT ALL EITHER IN FACT DONT EAT moRE THAN THE STUFF WE BROUGHt!!!!"

"*Why don't we share? It's yours, anyways.*" says Dallas. "Ok." I reply, taking another gallon of guava juice. Suddenly Galaxy comes and screams in my face not to eat too much. I make an 'ok' sign and she runs back to join the group.

I continue reading, occasionally eavsdropping on conversations. Finally, I give up and tuck my book into a pouch. Nightfall told me to associate with people. How am I supposed to when nobody wants to talk with me? I give a sigh of frustration, then summon a water wave and try to use the moon to make it move. It's not working. UGhhhhhhhh, I groan. THIS AIN'T WORKING!! I summon Waterfall and fly back to an empty field, circling the field heavily.
---[Spellcaster]---
"<That sure is a lot,but can you ever have too much? Now that is the question.>"[Evan says] "[No you can't ever have too much except when your my sibling's age and they don't like candy anymore and get all mad at me for everything.]" [I answer, ripping apart the wrapping on the twix bar and snapping it in half, then popping one into my mouth.] "[Want a half?]" [I say, holding up the other half.]

"Ok, we'll wait for Archer to come and then we can all go together." Galaxy responds. I'm confused. I don't know an 'Archer'. I'm about to ask when Galaxy says, "Archer is my ship. He's one of Mahriel's AEs. Lemme go yell at Burn for a sec." I understand now. I nod, and she storms off to go yell at Burn. I pretend to not hear her screaming, but she's pretty loud. She comes back over and we just wait for Archer.

I. AM. SO. BORED. I don't even know what to do anymore. I look at Evan and Spellcaster. They're fine. I look over at Adrian and Winter. They're MORE than fine. What am I supposed to do around here?!

I've already smiled twice in less than three minutes. My stomach feels twisty. Am I sick? I smile again. Dang. It. I compose myself with a deep breath. Everything is going to be okay.

"Ok." *Burn says, inhaling another gallon of guava juice. I don't know how he does it, but I want to learn. Suddenly Galaxy comes and screams in Burn's face not to eat too much food. I laugh. She's so... what do you call it? Um... overbearing? Maybe. I don't know. I take the box of pizza from Burn as Galaxy stomps back over to the table. I grab two slices, place them on top of each other, fold them in half (like a pizza taco!) and stuff them in my mouth. I'm still hungry.* "*What is your favorite kind and style of pizza? Like New York style? Or Deep Dish? And does pineapple belong on pizza in your mind?*" I ask Burn, trying to make some sort of conversation.

We walk over to the entrance. "You ready?" Nerd asks. "Hark yeah!" I yell. "Let's see if we can actually defeat this corn maze!" I glance over at my AEs for a quick second. They look like they're having fun. Suddenly, Burn screams something about me being a crazy insomniac. I turn into rage mode and swirl over to Burn and shout, "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!!" unbelievingably. He mutters something and I yell, YOUR GROUNDED FROM THE MOMENT WE GET BACK HOME GOT IT?" and walk back to Nerd calmly. "Sorry 'bout that, needed to take care of that."
---Galaxy---
"Hey everyone." I say as I come back from the food table. "What about we see if we can do something at the entrance of the park? Y'all can ride Waterfall if y'all want, she's relatively easy to ride, and she's really obedient too."
---Burn---
Dallas grabs the pizza box and takes two slices of pizza, stack them together, and shove them in his mouth. "*What is your favorite kind and style of pizza? Like New York style? Or Deep Dish? And does pineapple belong on pizza in your mind?*" he says. "Hmm, I like Deep Dish, and HARK NO PINEAPPLE DOES NOT BELONG ON PIZZA WHOEVER MADE THAT WAS PROBABLY A CRAZY INSOMNIAC LIKE MY CBER NIGHTFALL!!" I scream. "Oh, and I can eat now, Galaxy's waiting for Archer, her ship." I smirk. Suddenly, Nightfall storms over to me in her 'rage-mode' and yells something about me saying something. "Whoops I said that out loud didn't I?" I mutter. "YOUR GROUNDED FROM THE MOMENT WE GET BACK HOME GOT IT?" She yells. "Yes.." I sigh. At least I can still have fun here.

I'm bored. Terribly bored. I've already returned Waterfall to the Pavilion. And I got nothing to do. Galaxy's talking with Cameron, Adrian's talking with Winter, Burn's associating (Aka Eating) with Dallas, Aspen apparently isn't doing anything. Galaxy puts up an offer to ride Waterfall. She'll ask me to take care of Waterfall, though. I'm going back to see what I can do. Suddenly, another AE, Abcde, the one I had a fight with, bursts in with a glass shard, hand bleeding. Diana takes care of it and I approach her. "Hi, I'm Ocean, the AE you had a fight with. Are you ok?" I ask, nodding towards her bandaged hand.
---[Spellcaster]---
"<You're going to hate me for this, but I'm allergic to chocolate. Whenever I eat it, I get these nasty hives. So I stick to the gummies.>" Evan says. [I look at him curiously, then reply, "[It's alright. I'm allergic to peanuts, eggs, and, sadly, milk chocolate. I don't bring any.]" [Digging in my candy sack, I hold up another pack of gummies. "[Want one?]" I question.
:PS : Nerd, can we ship Evan and Spellcaster? I understand if you don't, but yeah. They're roughly the same age and all, but young.:
