BIOLOGY! I'm taking

BIOLOGY! I'm taking bio this year. I'm loving it right now! All the terms are a little confusing though... :o)

P.S. About to take a test! Wish me luck! Hahaha

Why thank you! ;) Yay! I only got one question wrong because I didn't know the difference between netted and parallel veins in a plant (?) and still don't. Hahaha. Anyone got a clue? I needed to know when I was classifying a plant, it was in the key so the book itself didn't tell me.

It's been a loooong time since I studied plants or biology, but I would think that parallel veins run side by side like parallel lines without intersecting and netted veins would branch off each other in a net pattern.

Exactly what I thought! I didn't see any little veins coming out from one another, so I thought it must be parallel but I guess I was wrong! :) Maybe I didn't look closely enough.

Hope you keep loving it, Grace! Biology isn't until next year for me, along with physics, but this year is chemistry, and it's really cool.

Cool! How long have you been 14?? Did I miss your birthday? (In that case "Belated Happy B-day!! ) Or are you just being enthusiastic? Questions, questions. :)

Wow this post looks annoying.

Biology is fun. Or at least it was for me because my teacher was insane.

Notes are a good thing, though (as with any science). Lots and lots of notes.

I will keep that in mind for my future since I can't take notes since I'm homeschooled. Notes, Grace. Notes. :)

You're not talking about Evolution classes, are you? I hear they call it "Biology" these days.

So far, I hate biology.  But my mom says it will soon become fun... I am learning about atoms and enzymes and protons and all that boring stuff right now.  :(

What grade are you in, RD? I'm taking 7th grade Life Science and hating it. :(

8th... but I think I might be taking 9th grade science which makes it even worse because I was never advanced in science anyway!  But that's what I get for being homeschooled...

Haha, no. If anything it's like the opposite of Evolution, because it's written by a Christian.:) Although personally I see nothing wrong with that theory, as long as God started the process.

Is it that Apologia one? I'm currently doing Apologia Physical Science. It's been okay so far.
