I'm not feeling

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

I'm not feeling

I'm not feeling so great today. I have a sore throat, my ears are plugged (like in an airplane except when you shallow they don't pop), and to top it off, I got my braces tightened yesterday. I also have to go to volleyball today, and I don't know how I'll survive! :(:(:(:( :P

Hope you feel better soon, Maggie. I think you should stay home if you're sick! Please remember to include only your last initial not  last name on comments you submit. Thanks.

Thanks, Grace! My ears are GETTING better, and my throat is almost perfect! but now my nose is runny, and during Social Studies today, my eyes got watery, and I managed to pop my ears. The weirdest thing was that on the playground, I think my knee bone (or muscle) wasn't working right or something, and when I put weight on it it ached. But it's better now! I wish I could have stayed home yesterday :( Oh well... I did ok, even though I wass sick! I tried my hardest, and everything!

That's good! The thing about your eyes getting watery is funny, (well not "funny) because it reminds me of when I'm at the orthodontist. They shine these lights in my eyes, and I find my self sitting there straining my face to keep from crying!! Hahaa. Sometimes I close my eyes, but it feels akward when there are people basically staring right at my face while I do... :P Hahahah.... braces. What a joke. Someone should write a book in the Chicken Soup for the Soul style, only with funny stories about braces experiences! Hey... not a bad idea. Mwahahah.

Orthodontists are meanys. hehehe! My eyes stayed fine for the rest of the day! YAY! my mom finally told me why she wanted me to go to the volleyball thing! She told me she wanted me to sweat. I was like WhY? and she said, sometimes when you sweat, you can sweat the virus right out of you. yay

Awwww!! Poor you! I hate being sick!! My friend, also named Emma, was sick for a few days this week and she came back on Friday, but when we were going into band together, she felt really sick and like she might throw up and that she didn't think she could eat her lunch and that she wanted chicken noodle soup! I felt really bad for her. I didn't see her leave band, but she did and she went home for the rest of the day. So much for hoping she could come over! Hmmm... That got really off topic! Anyway, hope you feel better soon!! =(

I had to stay home from school today :( I didn't have an apatite and my throat is sore again, and I'm just so tired. I think I'm going to try to eat something again.

Aww... :(:( It hurts SO much to eat with a sore throat!!!  And then the things that don't hurt, like yogurt and smoothies, aren't good for colds, because they give you that nasty gunk in your throat... :P Well, just drink lots and lots of throat coat tea.  It's amazing. :):) This past week, I've taken my to-go cup filled with tea everywhere that I went! :D

Finally! Someone else who uses and likes Throat Coat tea! It tastes good, and it really works! That's what I take every time I get a sore throat.
