Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Well, see here's

Well, see here's the thing..my friend and I want to be chinese/japenese dolls for Halloween. (White paint on our faces, chinese dresses, chinese flats, bright red dots for blush, red lips, black hair.) but we aren't sure if people would get offended by it or what?

Personally, if I saw it, I wouldn't care. I'd be like "Wow, that's cool!" but we don't know if it would be considered racist or offensive. So here's the question. If you saw that for Halloween Costume, would you find it offensive?

No.

I've seen sumo wrestler costumes.

I think the doll idea is cool!

No, not at all. It sounds like a really fun idea,

actaully! :) You can be Egyptians and Indians

for Halloween, so I don't really see the difference.

I say go for it! Have fun!!! XP

Well, I'm super pale, and people call me Casper, but I'm not offended at all on Halloween when I see people dressed up like ghosts!! :) Really, though, I know two Chinese sisters who dressed up like Chinese people/dolls (like what your costume is) for Halloween, so they obviously weren't offended. :) I think that's fine for you to do.  I'm dressing up as my brother's friend, and he thinks that rocks!!  Sooo yeah, dress up as whoever you want! :D
