Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Stomach bug! :( I

Stomach bug! :( I caught it from my little sister, who just started Preschool, and is now living in her own little world of viruses and bugs. I threq up, what, like 6 times today, and for some reason I am now starving, even though I know what's going to happen if I eat something. :( Sorry to be gross. I just really feel terrible, and need pampering and sympathy! *does not recieve pampering or sympathy*

*gives pampering and sympathy* Poor you! (I had that a day or so ago, and it was really unpleasant...) If you're really hungry crackers and soup sometimes are okay. :)

On the plus side... d'you get out of any school? ;)

I hope you feel better! *sympathetic smile*

Thanks! By the way, I'll miss Monday and maybe even Tuesday.... ;) Turns out crackers and soup are okay, and I feel a lot better today.

Ugh! That's the worst! :( *also give pampering and sympathy* Don't worry, it shouldn't last long... In fact, you might already be over it by now... It's usually only a 24-hour thing *is speaking from experience... :\ *. But anyway, I hope you feel better!! *hopeful smile* :)

Awww, I hope you feel better soon!!  That's NOT fun to have at all. :( Actually, I've never had it really, but if I take this one type of medication I have within an hour of eating almost anything, I throw up, and it really stinks, because at my camp, they give it to me at breakfast. :P But yeah, I hope you get better soon! :D

I hope you feel better soon! :) *gives virtual lasagna* I made it myself! Oh, wait, you probably don't want it. *gives virtual orange juice*

I caught it two weeks ago, but I'm over it now. It was awful!!! The night I caught it, I got FREEZING cold; my lips were purple, my fingers and toes were numb, and my teeth were chattering so hard. I drank tea, but that didn't help, so I got in the tub, which only warmed my hands and toes. My dad said I had a high fever, so he gave me some medicine and by the time I went to bed, I was sweating like a pig. I feel for you!!!!

Thanks everyone! I really do feel better now. Anyway, I did miss school today! *cheers* Also, I talked to my friend Nicole, and she said we had a really boring Advanced Math lesson, so yay!

Come on, advanced math is fun!

Well, only because we have a great teacher this year.

My AM teacher, on finding averages:

"And then you divide the numbers by the number of the numbers, and that's how you get the average number."

XD She has a sense of humour!

Anyhoo, I'm glad you missed school. :D Lucky you.

*nods* Oh yes. I love Advanced Math usually. The lesson we're working on now? Not my idea of how to spend a whole period.

In my AM class, we learn one thing and then reveiw it for the entire month until we finally get to take a test on it and move on to something else. Isn't it supposed to be advanced math? Why can't we learn things faster? It's *so* *aggravating*!!! But I don't wantt say anything because it will sound ungrateful, and the on-levels math class is taught even more slowly than we are!

I wish I could skip a grade. I tried to, but the grade-skipping test results still haven't even came, and I've been in school for nearly 3 months!

I don't think I passed the test, anyway... At least, I don't think I passed the science. However, I'm sure I passed the math. It was fairly easy...

But if there's so much 6th grade science I haven't learned yet, why are we still taking tests on what matter is (which I learned in 1st grade) instead of learning who Rudolph Volkov (or was it Vinchov?) and his hypothesis were? (By the way, who was Rudolph V____ov?

@ Ima: Can't say I know who Rudolph Vsomethingov is. I kow what you mean, though. I almost skipped a grade, a long time ago (I think it was 1st grade!) I didn't, though. I guess I'm glad I didn't, but English, art, literature, and math..... ugh. It takes the teacher so long to teach us something I could learn by myself in just a day. Sorry. It's just that school is very boring sometimes....:/
