Things you Thought you Heard Someone say
So, I'm not sure about ya'll, but I sometimes think I hear people say one thing, when they really are saying something else entirely.
Neve, you do that whole lot more than just sometimes.
Okay Glim, your right, but do you know what I mean? Like-
When you think someone says "Can you grab the pant set?" when they really are saying "Can you grab the paint set?"

Yes, but that is a good example. If you've ever had any incidents like this, this is the place to share them.
Ooh! Ooh! Can we do typos like that to? Like when someone says "did you font ha your poems?" when they ment to say "finish"?

Okay this is REALLY weird, but once my sister crept up behind me and whispered "It's your destiny." And I responded with "So, you like tape," becuase I thought she said something along the lines of "Why do you like tape?" Yeah I have no idea how I thought she said that.... That happened in like 2017 but I never forgot it.

Once, my friends that were twins told me "Our mom bakes."
I thought they said "There's an earthquake," so I was very confused because I live in California, so there's actually lots of earthquakes here, but the ground wasn't shaking so it was just really weird.
My mom also has really bad hearing.
She once asked my friend, "Would you like grilled cheese or pasta for lunch?"
My friend said, "Pasta."
My mom said, "Grilled cheese? Got it!" and she left for the kitchen to go make it.
And grilled cheese and pasta sound NOTHING alike so I don't know how she missed that!

Yesterday, I accidently sent this text message to my grandmother: Oh, the skin and the skull are desperate.
I ment to say: Oh, the skin and the skull are seperate. That still sounds kinda weird though XD. My family found a dead squirrel in our backyard

And I ended up texting my grandmother about it for some reason. Ah, the strange things I do XD.

Earlier today a classmate of mine said "My boot is stuck to my foot." I thought she had said "my glove is stuck to my foot."

Once, my mom asked me a question, and I said "sure" and then she said "No? Okay then."
Then this weekend, I saw my cousins and we went on a hike in the woods. I told my little cousin "Stick to the trail, there might be posion ivy," and she thought I said "Poor Jumanji" (as in the movies with the board game/video game people get sucked into).

So, it's not a HEARING thing, more of a sight thing. The most recent thing was when I was at Govoners Island, and we were walking to the ferry and-She followed someone who wasn't her parent by accident!! Hahahaha! Yes, Wolf. But she was still close to her parents! Correct, Flower. Please stop interupting me though. But it's soo fun! Just stop please.

"I'll need to get a towel, won't I" was somehow translated into "I'm going to eat a bug, won't I" in my head. Also, "It looks like an E with a line" became "it looks like an E with a lima bean."
