Hey Silver! I already said this but I'm glad to be in a group with you. :) Right now I mostly know you for the Cryptic Caverns ski lodge (which I loved) and I'm excited to get to know you better.
Another Six of Crows fan! I love SoC- but I hate Shadow and Bone, and it's amazing to me that the two were written by the same person. Which Crow is your favorite? And which ship?

Hi there Luna!! I mostly know you for your amazing Ski Lodges- I've read through all of them except for your first one- and I'm still annoyed with myself for not joining the Ski Lodge story when I had the chance :) Thanks for the compliment about the Cryptic Caverns, I hope I can revive it one day. My second Ski Lodge made it more than 10,000 words in but that eventually died too :( I'm not very good at commitment lol

I agree with you on the SoC vs SaB issue, I've read both and found SaB to be very generic and boring. There were a few side characters that I loved (Tamar, Nikolai, Zoya, etc) but overall it wasn't that good. SoC, however, is one of the best series I've ever read, ever. The amount of representation alone is incredible for a YA fantasy series. My favorite Crow is probably Inej- although it's so hard to choose just one! My favorite ship is Kanej, although Wesper is a close second :) Which crow/ship do you prefer?

For another topic, I know you like LotR, so any thoughts on that? Books vs. movies? Favorite character/book? Have you ever read the silm?

I love Nikolai- he was definitely my favorite part of the trilogy. The rest was cliche and generic and I hated Alina.

I can never decide if Jesper or Wylan is my favorite. They're definitely my favorite ship.

As for LotR, Sam is my absolute favorite. He's my favorite character from anything ever. I'm not sure about books versus movies; I'm more likely to watch the movies since it's easier, but the books are some of my favorite books and the movies are some of my favorite movies! I haven't read the Silm but I've been asking for a copy since last Christmas. What about you?

What are some books you've been wanting to read?

I also love Sam! He's such a loyal and relatable character <3 My favorite LotR character is either Sam or Legolas or Eowyn, but my overall favorite Tolkien character is probably Maedhros from the Silm. In terms of books vs movies, I think the books are very good but also incredibly time consuming to read, and I love the movies as well. Even though it took me three months, I managed to read the Silmarillion, and even though it was probably the densest book I've ever read, it adds so much depth to Tolkien's world and it's probably one of my favorite books ever. I highly reccomend :)

As for books I want to read, I really want to read Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, which is a romance novel in which the prince of England and the son of the US president fall in love. My friend also recently reccomended the book We Were Liars by E Lockhart, which sounds interesting. I've been in a reading rut lately, so that kind of stinks, but hopefully I'll start reading something soon!

What kind of music do you like listening to? Favorite songs/artists? Favorite musicals? <3

I've heard of Red, White and Royal Blue, and I read We Were Liars earlier this summer! It was great, I really liked the writing style.

Hmm, well... I would say my favorite musicals are the Averno musicals, but recently a google doc was released with statements from lots of the Averno team members stating that they were leaving because of some really horrible things the creator had done. It really stinks and now the stories and music are sort of tainted for me. :( But I also like Les Mis and Into the Woods a lot, and I have a whole huge list of musicals to listen to. As for artists, my favorite will always be Gregory Alan Isakov. Some of my favorite songs right now are "Here on Out" by Dave Matthews Band, "Rearview" by Beach Bunny, "Runaway" by AURORA, "The Perfect Space" by the Avett Brothers and a bunch of others. I've got a pretty pretentious-sounding music taste (indie folk with bits of rock, jazz, and punk) and I've fallen in love with lots of obscure artists and bands. What about you?
