Paradoxes!

Paradoxes are theoretical statements that cannot be proven right or wrong, and I just love them! Here are some of my favorites:

This statement is false:

If the statement is false, as stated, then the statement must be true. But if it's true then it's not false, so it can't be true.

The Pinocchio Paradox:

Pinocchio says, "My nose is going to grow."

If it's a lie, well, his nose will grow, so it's not a lie. But if it's not a lie his nose won't grow, so it is a lie. BOOM! PARADOX!

Post paradoxes you like here!

If you met your future self, then when you got to that point in the future, you would meet your past self and remember both occasions (Like in Lego movie 2, where Emmett meets Rex, who seems to be his future self). But what if you then chose not to after the past occasion? Would the meeting then completely vanish from your memory? If it did, then that means you never did meet your future self, which means it never just 'vanished' from your memory, which means you did meet your future self, but if you didn't, it would completely vanish from your memory, etc.

There is a barber in town who boasts that he shaves every man who does not shave himself. So, does he shave his own beard?

If he does, he's shaving a man who also shaved himself.
But if he doesn't, there is a man in town who doesn't shave himself that the barber also doesn't shave.
