What Did You

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

What Did You

What Did You Eat Today?

This is a ridiculous thread to talk about what you ate today. I will go first:

I ate spring rolls dipped in almond sauce.

I'll go second! I ate lettuce. A lettuce sandwich. Thank you, Archie.

I'll go third!!! I ate an apple and a lot of cookies. Hey! I didn't approve that!

I'll go fourth! I tried to eat cake, but Shining Star wouldn't let me, so I ate half her spring rolls ha HA!!!

Please ignore my AEs. They are a bit annoyed with me. Well ONE IN PARTICULAR>>looking at you cake-lover>>

A little while ago, I had sticky rice in a triangle shape with peanuts and meat, wrapped in banana leaves. It's extremely delicious. Seriously. It's a Chinese food, but I doubt I'm allowed to say what it's called on CB (I don't think we can say anything in a foreign language). And also a white peach, two vitamin supplements, and leftover bits of meat from a night or two ago that are too small to amount to very much at all.

Uh, you mean zongzi? (I strongly doubt whether the name, or at least the equivalent of the name is going to pass through, but here goes nothing) If you want to you could call them-

*checks translation*

*double-checks translation*

... Gluttonous dumplings. That is a terrible translation, honestly.

Yep, that's it, although I'm more accustomed to calling it in its Taiwanese name. And yes gluttonous dumplings just doesn't...sound correct.

Captcha says <aahog> *looks around confusedly* Where's the hog? And why are you screaming, Captcha?
