PLEASE: Think about

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

PLEASE: Think about

PLEASE: Think about it!

---------

I beg of you, before you tease, torment, or 'diss' someone that isn't like you, think about it! Think of all the pain it will cause someone, think about them feeling enough pain to inflict pain on themselves.

-

Think about their family situation, when they come in with messy hair or torn clothes, think about how it's not their fault.

-

Think about their pretty eyes when they come in with a gap between their teeth, or with a little more meat on their bones. Think about how you yourself have flaws. What about your buck teeth or split ends?

-

Think about how you've ever felt, when you were ganged up on. Or have you always been Queen Bee? Always on top of everybody? Think about how it would feel to fall.

-

Think about how guilty you would feel, if they did something to themselves. Think aout how their family would feel. Think about how it would HAUNT YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

-

Think about it.

Solemn cheers for that. Just wondering, did something happen that pushed you to post this?

Of course I've had it happen sometime and another in my life.

You know, I was watching a video on child abuse, and I was thinking how we as children abuse other people all the time with our words, and how are we any better than a father or mother that does something like that to their children?

*applause* Wow, GloWorm. *sniffsniff* Those kinds

of things make me sad, but you're exactly right.

*more applause* :)

Beautifully done Glo Worm! I hate predudices just because of how people look. It isn't fair-at all.

Yeah. I'm doing that this year as just sort of a weird thing, "changing" my name to Emilie.

Thanks ya'll, I only hope we can all remember this, I know that sometimes it's a struggle for myself, especially, but we'll try.

That is very true, GloWorm.  I myself have plenty of flaws.  A lot, actually.  And I hate it when people judge people just because of what they look like.
