Riley: The girl

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Riley: The girl

Riley: The girl of hope, and remembrance.

In school today, our SWEP teacher wanted to make cards for this girl named Riley. Why Riley? Because she is a 10-year-old girl in North Carolina who has a terminal brain tumor. When the Make-A-Wish Foundation asked what she wanted, she said she wanted enough cards to fill the walls in her hospital room. We are here to say to Riley, "Girl of hope and remembrance, live on!" Riley, will be in our hearts forever and a day. Remember Riley!

I googled "make a wish foundation riley cards north carolina" and found her address easily. Correction, though - her mother said it was not through Make-a-Wish Foundation; it was a request posted on her carepage site that is managed by her parents. Methinks I will make and send a card, though. Cheers!
