Chatterbox: Down to Earth

I was encouraged

I was encouraged my Sydney to do the right thing. :(

My name is not really Mango. I am 12-14, but Mango is not my real name. I am very sorry to tell such a falsehood. :( My middle name is not Sidny either, I just thought that Mango Sidny sounded really pretty together. I'm very sorry. Please forgive me.

Wowza, what is going on here!?!?!  Everyone is lying and playing tricks!  Is this just a Halloween trend?  It's okay, Mango, I forgive you.  It would have been fine if u had just said your pen-name was Mango, but anyway, its just a name.

It's okay, but now that we know 'tisn't your real name, can you please go by something else, since the other Mango was here first?

It's okay. I forgive you. ;) But might I ask what your real name is (if that's something you want to give out)? And also, you're 12-14 years old? o.O Please explain...

Your real name isn't Mango? I'm a little disappointed in you, Mango. I trust you guys on here to tell the truth. But you sound like you're truly sorry, so I forgive you.

Um, you can call me M. I'm not comfortable giving out real names. Again, I'm sorry! I just...I dunno, I didn't want to give out my real name, and I thought it sounded pretty. :(

Please forgive me admins! And thanks forgiving me guys!

Oh, and 12-14 means I'm between the ages of 12 and 14.

There's nothing wrong with making up a fake name on the Chatterbox, everyone--especially if it makes you feel safer. What's in a name?

(Bonus CB points for anyone who can tell me where that question comes from!)

I think it's Shakespeare, or Poe or something like that.....M, I forgive you, totally, just like I did with Makenzie. Don't worry about it.

Yah, I doubt that GloWorm is actually named Gloworm, and we didn't find out that Ima was actually Katie for a while, just 'cause she didn't feel like putting her real name.  No big deal.  :)

Ok, Shakespeare, either Romeo and Juliet, no, it's definitely that.  :)

Definitely.

Pen names are no issue, honestly. Get less uptight about that part, everybuggy, please. It was just the whole inventing a fantasy life that bugged me about Sydney's. Pen names are no issue.

"A rose by any other name..."

What? No. I just wanna quote Shakespeare.

I don't care about pennames. It's the same reason that we don't give out personal information like addresses and last names on this site; for safety purposes. If it makes you feel safer to not give out your name, then for heaven's sake I really don't care either way.

Congrats!:) You are so correct.

I just watched Shakespeare in Love, that's the only reason I kinda guessed it!!  :)

And Mary, I TOTALLY agree.

Mango, I think you should still be able to use it!  Just because we know the truth doesn't mean you have to stop.  I sure like it better than 'M', and I think it would be less confusing, since we already know who you are.  :)
