It's really cool that you both play the piano. I know some of the basics, but am getting actual keyboard lessons this year. I'm a little nervous, but mostly excited!

I have been singing my entire life and I am in my school's choir. We also do a musical every year, which is lots of fun! I got a big role and did okay but I had a voice crack in front of everyone. I was so embarrassed! Everyone said I still did great, though, and I hope to do it again this year and be even better.

Hi Peri!

Did I mention I saw your introduction thread on Inkwell? Ooh, that doesn't sound too great, but I'm sure you did awesome. I am in a theater class for the first time. I am REALLY scared, because the last time I acted I ended up rolling on the floor, it was just a silly one with my older sister.

Oh, and don't be nervous about keyboard lessons! I started in very beginner, and I've acually almost cried in my piano lessons...I mean, currently. I'm learning sightreading and I am sort of stressed out about it. It supposed to be so you can read notes on the music lightning fast, I'm really bad at it.

I love to sing, especially in the shower, when the water is my audience. Has anyone wached the Greatest Showman?

I had my first keyboard lesson today! You were right, Rora, I shouldn't have been so nervous. It was lots of fun. My school also teaches handbells, which is sort of like a chorus but instead of singing everyone rings bells, which I signed up for and started today. That was also great! 

Also, yes, I've watched the Greatest Showman like five times, I really like it! It's based on a real guy's life.

GREAT! My piano teacher is in Hawaii, so I have lots of time to practice. :) Sightreading is REALLY hard, though. I mean I got assigned a whole unit and I have a test when she gets back from Hawaii...

COOL! How do handbells work? Are they on your hands or something?

I REALLY LOVE IT! You beat me on watching it, and I actually moved my family's CD player into my room and have been hogging it to listen to the Greatest Showman...But anyway! Hopefully this goes to the front page...
