Sports. I think

Sports. I think there was a sports thread a while back, but hey why not a new one?! What sports do you play? how long have you been playing them?

The main sport i play is rowing. the Olympic style. This is my second year rowing and i am in the competitive program. At the rowing club we are all very close so it's great fun. We are actually starting dry-land training now as the sun sets to early for our normal row during the week.

Rowing is only competitive sport i play. But i also Horse-back ride, skate, ski, and sail.

I tried taking tennis lessons once, but the coach was really mean. But I love going to the courts and just hitting the ball back and fourth with my friends!!

Rowing sounds really cool!  And all the other sports people mentioned do too!  I used to ice-skate for a while, but being a music person, and not very good or competitive, I dropped it for piano.  But it was really fun!  So now I don't play any sports.  But who knows.....

I love to swim. I'm going to join a swim club soon. My favorite stroke is the butterfly; the teacher at a swim course I took asked me to demonstrate it 3 times in a row, so I guess I'm pretty good at it. I also LOVE flip-turns. But I hate it when the pool is cold!!!

Ooh, and above everything else, I lovelovelove skiing!!!!! It's awesome!!! I can't ice-skate, though. It hurts my feet a lot since I have really bad ankles that I sprain a lot.

Tennis rocks! It's SO COOL! A girl and I went and played tennis just today. I've gotten a lot better than I used to be, but my serving still stinks.

Swimming is awesome too. Bowling's pretty cool.

It's hard to explain why I like running. It just makes me feel really powerful when I'm running, out on the track ahead of everyone else. Especially when it's cold. I don't really know why, I just love it so much. I miss it. :'(
