Chatterbox: Down to Earth

 Take a

Take a deep breath and relax everyone, okay? I kind of missed all the S.M.S. commotion, but I looked back and tried to find what I could. This is my opinion: everyone should stop being so suspicious. Even if some people are lying, who cares? It should be their guilt to worry about. If we do believe that someone is real, but then turns out to be “fake”, what's wrong with that? Are they going to come out with it and go "Ha! I fooled you!" I sure hope not. So anyways, I think it's a waste of time to be worrying about it. And if everyone stops being all suspicious about new people, I'm sure the new people will appreciate it, if they are real. :) (I know it's tempting to say it when you know who it is, but please just keep it to yourself. It just makes all the threads way too confusing.) I kind of forgot how I pretended to be a Candle (LOL) and I remember when Mary Jo was guessing who I am. I was just having fun, and I think it's fine, because well obviously I wasn't a candle, right? If someone is actually making up people, you should just tell everyone, ok? Once everyone knows you aren't “real” you can still pretend to be whoever you made up, just for fun.

Ok this post is getting way to long, and I keep saying the same thing over and over. So BYE! Hahahaha, sorry I couldn't resist. ;)

I COMPLETELY agree. It doesn't really bug me that much if people make up fake identities. Sure, I want them to stop just as much as everybody else, but I don't think that immediately proclaiming every new Chatterboxer is a fake is really going to help us (or them) too much. If somebody really feels that they need to make up fake stories about themselves, that's their own choice. That doesn't make it right, but we don't need to automatically assume things about new people, just because they write like someone else. The Chatterbox isn't an exclusive website. Everybody should be allowed a fair chance without being ripped apart as an imposter. If somebody had told me I wasn't a real person and that I was just coming on here to annoy people then I would have left Chatterbox for good. I think that most people would. *shrugs* So maybe we should just completely stop accusing new Chatterboxers and take this whole thing as a lesson in always telling the truth. Just my opinion. :)
