How to Make Quick and Easy Recipes

Okay, I like to do a bit of cooking myself, so here are some snacks you can make. All (except one) you can make without an oven.

Recipe #1: Cookie Pie

This is an original recipe that I made myself. It's pretty easy.

Okay, these are the ingredients that you need: Pie dough, chocolate chips, whipped cream, sprinkles, sugar. Then, you cut out 11-12 little circles from the pie dough. You bake the circles in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes, depending on how your oven works. Once they are baked, melt the chocolate chips in a bowl and pour it on all the circles. Then, spray on whipped cream, sprinkles and sugar. Keep in the freezer until you're ready to eat it.

Recipe #2: Sweet and Teensy Tacos

Ingredients: Tortilla chips, taco meat, salad, honey, tomatoes, grated cheese. Take the taco meat (make sure it's cooked) and place it in the tortilla chips. Rip up the salad pieces into tiny shreds, and put that on top of the meat. Do the same for the tomatoes (cut them up), and the cheese. After that, put a couple drops of honey on top of the mini tacos. Eat and enjoy!

Recipe #3: Strawberry Amazingness

Ingredients: Strawberries, graham crackers, sugar, whipped cream.  Chop up the strawberries and put them in bowls. Mix in sugar until sweet. Crumble graham crackers over the strawberries. Spray on whipped cream and refrigerate.

I have more, but I'll add those later! Hope you like these. :)

Ooh, can I add one?  Those sound really good!!!

Yogurt Pie

What you'll need:

Two (approximately) six ounce containers of (flavor of your choice) yogurt (Yoplait works best)

One nine inch graham cracker pie crust

One eight ounce container of cool whip

Fruit that tastes good with flavor you chose (optional)

Medium/large mixing bowl

Large spoon or fork

---

Empty containers of yogurt and cool whip into bowl.  Mix until well blended.

Scoop mixture into pie shell, spread evenly.

Place fruit on top (optional)*.

Cover with plastic that came on the pie shell (if you flip it over, it fits nicely over the pie, fold the aluminum edges over to hold it in place)

Place on flat surface in freezer for about an hour, or until firmly frozen.

Let defrost enough to insert knife, and serve.  Bon appetite!!

* When I make these, I tend to decorate them to match whatever holiday I'm celebrating, like for the 4th of July, I put strawberries and blueberries on in stripes.  :)  For halloween, I put green food coloring in a key lime pie to enhance the color, which is really lightened but the cool whip.  (I also put orange in the peach one)  Then I put halloween sprinkles all over it, no fruit.

I have another one to add:

Pretty Purple Paradise!***

Ingredients: Vanilla Yogurt, graham crackers, whipped cream, blue and red food coloring, blueberries.

Directions: Take the whipped cream and spray it in a bowl to about halfway. Then, take the vanilla yogurt and put that in with the whipped cream so that it fills up almost to the top. Crush the graham crackers and mix them in with the rest. Add blueberries. After that, you dribble 4-5 drops of red and blue food coloring each in the bowl. Mix well with a spoon, or until the color is a purple. Then, you can add other tiny fruits into the mixture. Keep in the fridge until you eat it. It's kind of like a pudding.

*** It's a funny name. :) I made it up last year, so, yeah. It does describe it, though. It's purple and pretty.. ish. And the taste of it sends you spiraling into paradise. At least that's what my little sister thinks. :P
