My foot is

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

My foot is

My foot is cut.  On my left foot there is a cut under my pinky toe a little less than an inch long and not very deep.  Here is the story about how it happened...:

So, I was in the creek in my backyard, I jumped from rock to rock so that my feet wouldn't get wet.  But I slipped.  I went to hulahoop.  A certain place on my left foot still hurt.  Probably a bruise, I thought.  But it kept on hurting, so I looked at it.  And it was a curvy cut on my foot!  So, suddenly, it started to hurt more.  So then I told my mom and showed it to her.  My five-year-old sister, Luna, who does not like seeing blood was whining at Mom to do something.  So, without thinking, I showed Luna my foot and said, "If your foot was like this, would you want Mom to help you, or give me nummy*?"  So then, she started screaming "Ow.  My eyes."

Finally, when I got inside, Mom rinsed my foot off with water.  Then she poured hydrogen peroxide on it two times to get the germs off, and then she put Band-Aids on it.  And now I am wearing socks to keep the Band-Aids on longer.  So now I am sitting here telling you the story on how my foot got cut.

*Nummy is milk from my mom.  I wouldn't really be drinking nummy right now though, 'cause I stopped when I was three.  And I called it Meewk, no nummy.  Nummy is what Luna calls it.  :D

So, this could maybe be an injuries thread.  I just wanted to tell you guys about my foot.  Don't know why.

Goodbye,

Sorry about your cut! I have a scar from second grade on my chin when I cracked it open. I was at a pool party and I was running and I slippped. It was a huge party so no one noticed, and I was left alone only to be found bleeding on the cement by the hostesses mother. I had to get my chin glued. I've also had my head stapled and my thumb stitched. I'm not exactly what you would call "coordinated."
