Random Acts of Kindness!! Challenge

~~~~~~~~~
This is just an idea inspired by some of the other CBers and idk of it's already been done but here I challenge you to do one (or more!) random acts of kindness a day, whether it's holding a door open for a stranger, giving your parents a hug (a real one), being nice to your sibling (at least for a minute, maybe just let an argument go which would be nice for all those involved and all those listening if it's a problem that doesn't matter much (like if you're on your sibling's side of the bed) or just be calm/reasonable solving the problem if possible), doing the chores without being asked and without complaint, stuff like that. It may be easier with your sibling if you get them to do this too, in fact, I challenge you to ALSO spread this challenge around to as many ppl as possible! And you guys can post what you do everyday here, which would also help with inspiration! Yesterday, I held the door open for my brother even though I REALLY didn't want too, he was moving SO SLOWLY and ordering me around AS I WAS DOING SOMETHING NICE FOR HIM!! But I still did it. And Ig we should try to do this everyday for at least a year, if ppl need an end to look at. So until July 3 2024! Unless you guys live in a different timezone...
This is a really good idea! I especially like the part about being nicer to your siblings. I already get along pretty well with my sister (she's actually like my best friend ever :) ), but I'll keep this in mind!
Ok... I thought I posted a comment about posting a comment here and it disappearing but then this whole thread disappeared so I didn't get to check until now when I learned about the trick to getting the thread back so... from my recollection, I said something like: and with the siblings part, if you're anything like me and my siblings, you can let them have the last word bc it rly isn't as important as it seems at the time, and it might be easier if your siblings know about this challenge and are receptive to this kind of thing so I ALSO CHALLENGE YOU TO GET AS MANY PPL AS YOU CAN DOING THIS CHALLENGE ALSO! Also, you can compliment someone, be nice to someone who's new/show them the ropes/be friendly and if they're shy and lonely make them feel not so alone idk if that makes sense. You can also give your parents a break if they're having a hard day or something. Also you can post here if you're on the receiving end of a RAoK, or if you just see one. Anyway, I think this thread should appear again now, so have fun! Thx!
@Poinsettia, wow... my brother's sometimes a friend (tho he always denies it), mostly an enemy. We do things just to spite each other. Meanwhile, all my friends (except for one) have SISTERS, and idk if this is related or just cuz me and my bro are siblings, but I get along just fine with them (in fact, we're all pretty good friends now...). But I think the reason why my bro and I don't get along is that we're basically opposites in everything. He plays basketball, I play soccer (tho I also love basketball, but soccer I play in a league), he likes cold, I like hot, he likes spending as much as he can, I like saving money, he makes friends wherever he goes and me? Not so much. He's a clean freak and I love to get dirty. He'd rather play video games, I'd rather read. He doesn't like to talk about what a mess the world is, I love to do that. He dresses nice and gels his hair, I throw on whatever clothes are on the top of the pile and don't brush my hair. He hates mac and cheese unless it's truffle, I love Mac and cheese unless it's truffle.
Sorry, I just like listing opposite with my bro. :)  Sometimes he's pretty cool too tho so I will try to take my own advice. But pretty cool you and your sister are best friends! As you were (tho with RAoK)!
