well, i think i do this every other year, huh? for those uninformed, hello hello my name is neko, and i was...well i'd consider myself a fairly active user around 2017-2018. this website will always hold a very special place in my heart. this community was (and i'm sure still is) full of wonderful, creative people, and i cherish the friends i made.
a certain return is probably unlikely at this point, i feel like i've far outgrown most of the subject matter prioritized here. however, nostalgia strikes, y'know?

i most commonly go by nocturne, i use he/she/it pronouns, i am 17. i live in chicago, i am a huge fan of mystery, horror, and philosophy. i've had a rough time but it made me cool.
are you still a writer?
absolutely! i do more poetry nowadays, and i'll see what i can share here. as mentioned, i think a lot of what i've worked on most recently isn't fitting the vibe here.

Hi Neko, you don't know me but I love poetry and philosophy too!! What kind of philosophy do you like? I'm not entirely sure that I'm a philosopher actually, bc everything I know about philosophy is kind of from The Girl Who Flew With Dragons, but I like to think of this as philosophy anyways! Anyways, I like pondering the meaning of life, reality, and time. And sometimes I ponder them out in my poems! Excited to see some of your work!

nice to meet you celine! i think everyone should engage in a bit of poetic pondering in their life. my favorite philosopher is albert camus, his doctrine is focused on acceptance of the absurd (not quite exstistentialist, he's associated with the movement but unlike others he disencouraged seeking a concrete meaning for life)
